Pros:

We loved our traditional room, the futons were very comfortable. Although it did not have a view on Mt Fuji, we could enjoy this beautiful view from the common living room. The staff was very friendly. We loved the fact that the hotel offered a private onsen session and a bike rental. Furthermore, it was easily accessible by bus.

Cons:

The bathroom was shared, but it was okay for us for one night.

Pros:

If you are on a budget and want a location with a view outside busy town
Pros:

The only person that we saw at front desk was very nice
The room had a view on Fuji, very near

Cons:

It was as it the place was not set up for winter.
1- Not hot water in the shared basin on the floor( shared with 5 rooms) only option to shower and have hot water is at the onsen. Maybe it depends on the kind of room.
2- the common places were not heated
3- no breakfast only free coffee
4- no privacy between rooms

Pros:

O quarto que nos hospedamos contava com uma vista direta para o Monte Fuji, nos proporcionando uma experiência sensacional logo ao despertar e abrir as cortinas. Em estilo japonês tradicional, conta com camas confortáveis, mas tambem nos permitiu experienciar a utilização das salas com tatames e a sala de banho com um ofurô maravilhoso. A equipe e os proprietários sao extremamente atenciosos e nos prestou suporte durante toda estadia.

Cons:

O acesso para quem utiliza transportes públicos é bem difícil, por isso atenção se você não está com veículo próprio.

Beautiful, quiet stay in Yamanakako
Pros:

- Upgraded to a larger room with a window view of Mount Fuji for no extra cost.
- Onsen is private for you once you book a time slot.
- Large common room area for cooking and relaxing.
- Relatively quiet, only a few people when I visited.

Cons:

- I didn’t have an issue, but just be aware that insects/spiders are about, and they may enter your room if you don’t close the windows.
- Not an issue for myself, but a heads up that the accomodation is about 500m away from the main road bus-stop, up a slight incline.
