Pros:

Lovely country hotel with superb view just off main road but far enough away from any road noise. excellent view of agregento and the ruins.
I would say this is the best location for visiting agrento.

Our stay was coloured by our accommodation sadly. It is perfectly pleasant.
Pros:

A conveniently place property near the temple ruins. There is a 700 year old tower, a central courtyard and a terraced garden. A nice view of the surrounding area, you can see the temples lit up at night.

Cons:

When you look at the hotel online you see lovely light and airy comfortable looking bedrooms which is what appealed to me. We were put in the tower where the bedrooms had a more old fashioned feel. Our room had a lower and upper floor, you entered into a room with a chaise longue, chest of drawers, large TV, table and a few chairs. 2 windows, one overlooking the dining room roof and another down the road. Up the stairs was a bedroom and bathroom, no window.
I think this hotel is popular with groups.

Exceptional experience in the Valley of the Temples
Pros:

Spectacular is the only word to describe the experience.
700 year old watch tower converted to a hotel with views overlooking the temples.
Short 10min drive to the entrance gates for the valley of the temples.
The rooms were perfect and we had a room with a balcony looking at the temples.
The experience in the restaurant was brilliant.
I have food allergies and the Matre’D went out of his way to cater for lunch and dinner .He and his team made the experience sooo amazing.Outstanding food and wine.
If you are in the area book this property for a memorable experience.
