The Crow Inn is a gorgeous heritage pub in the heart of what was clearly a district full of busy metal-working workshops and workers' residences, now partially surrounded by new builds.
It's a really simple offer, a clean and comfy bed for the night at an excellent value rate. The pub doesn't serve food, but it's less than 10 minutes from a wide range of great cafes and restaurants. If you want to go for the value option, there's a Premier convenience store on the corner.
The staff were really welcoming and the range of beers on offer in the bar was excellent. The room was newly decorated, clean and a good size, well equipped with kettle, TV and good wifi.

Excellent location, close to the city center yet on a quiet street. Very warm, which was especially important after a rainy day in the city, and I could dry my wet clothes and shoes. The temperature is adjustable. Thick curtains, a wide bed. Quite quiet, considering there’s a pub downstairs. Friendly staff. Everything very clean, good bedding.

Almost nothing to say. I had the Magpie room, which was rather small. The bed was right by the window. The mattress was maybe too soft for me.

The room & bathroom was super clean and had everything one needs for a stay, clean carpets, coat hooks, coffee/tea making facility, TV, hand wash, shampoo and shower gel. Nice clean beddings and towels and a good strong hot shower!

I found the room a little cold as only the heater in the bathroom seed to be working. Not the end of the world though
