Good, but sleep was interrupted
Pros:

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was nice

Cons:

I was woken up at 6am when kegs were being unloaded for the bar outside my window. It was very noisy

Lodge on picturesque river banks
Pros:

Very clean, nice room with a terrace facing the water and boats. Enjoyed the late night banter in the bar with locals and visitors alike

Cons:

Needed an Iron in room but phoned reception and one was delivered immediately. (Very minor detail).
Could have used a shower cap (minor detail again, lucky I had one with me)
For the price , excellent , or price could be higher! So not complaints , just saying!

Above-and-Beyond Service and Lodging
Pros:

The staff was wonderful in helping me arrange an afternoon tea and a dinner for relatives during my short stay. My guest room was comfortable and quiet and included all the amenities I appreciate. I look forward to a more leisurely stay in the future.

Cons:

Great deck overlooking the marina, lovely bedding and towels, in-room coffee, and spacious, quiet room.
