Beautiful location with amazing views. Bothy Bar was excellent. Food and service exceptional. Breakfast also was good. Julie was lovely to deal with as were all of the staff.
It could just do with a refresh. Eg new beds etc. Just a little tired.

We cycled here for a one-night stay on a wee tour of the area. Wonderful location on the loch, great evening meal, secure storage for the bikes, and everything we needed. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was good. Waitress was very good. Bar staff and restaurant staff were all good. The location was absolutely stunning.
The room was not up to standard. I took numerous photos should the owner want to discuss. From stained carpets to old window blind fittings left on the wall, it was unnecessarily neglected with bits of trim hanging off, loose taps on the hand basin and bath, the list is too long to go into. Very disappointing considering what it could so easily be and the fantastic location.
Good size room - clean and cosy bedding
Magical Location: Surrounded by lakes and waterfalls and tucked away from large towns, it is truly beautiful and offers all amenities.
La struttura è bellissima sia internamente che esternamente, affacciata sul fiordo. La stanza per la colazione é arredata divinamente e la colazione viene servita con un servizio di porcellane. Katarina e Ferd sono disponibili e simpatici e ti fanno sentire come se fossi andato a trovare dei lontani amici scozzesi.

The location is sublime, & The evening food was very good.
It was the cat lick clean bedroom, cheap mattresses on unstable beds, loose stair carpet, followed up by what can only be described as last night of a winning season with free bar at a rugby club party including raucous laughter and communal singing keeping us awake until midnight that was the final straw, which led us to leave after one night instead of two.

This was my second visit to Strontian Hotel, and the experience was just as good as the previous one. The waiting staff were particularly lovely and attentive. The view over the loch from our bedroom was fantastic, and our two wire-haired pointers were made very welcome. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, and the hotel managed to cater for our two adult children who joined us at the last minute.
