Very Poor Furniture and Really Cheap Quality Beds and Mattresses.. Needs a Lot of Money spent to bring it up to any try of standard to charge the money they do..

Lovely stay
Pros:

Location was amazing,
Well organised with the preorder breakfast,
Plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate,
Good quality shower gel and shampoo
Dogs made very welcome and given sausage for their breakfast

Cons:

Overlooking the rear of the hotel but that couldn't be helped because of the late booking.
Bed was slightly lumpy
Couple of possible suggestions....TV on the wall to allow more room for kettle etc. Tea tray. Damper on doors to stop them banging (and our dog barking 🤦) and to make dogs feel even more welcome maybe a mat to go under their bowls when in the bedroom
But overall loved our stay with you

Pros:

Amazing location looking out over the loch. Comfortable room at a reasonable price. The Bothy bar served lovely food with a good selection of drinks, all served by a great team of young people who seem to get how important good customer service is. Excellent breakfast...

Pros:

When I arrived in heavy rain, they came out to meet me to get my bike into a shelter. Never known anywhere else do that! Julie and Martin are great and they went out of their way to make me welcome. Would certainly recommend

We hebben hier 2 nachten prima geslapen om van hieruit eiland Mull te bezoeken met de motor.
Pros:

Vriendelijke eigenaarresse, parkeerplek genoeg bij hotel, ze bood nog aan om de motor in een soort van storage te zetten.
Personeel zeer vriendelij.
Goede kaart in het restaurant.
Samen met de local's WK voetbal gekeken in de bar.

L’emplacement est exceptionnel avec le loch rien que pour nous. Très calme. Paisible. L’hôtel est très cosy. Les chambres sont confortables et chaleureuses. Le Bothy bar, attenant, très bien pour manger et/ou boire un coup. Nous reviendrons assurément.

Best breakfast, worst beds.
Pros:

The location was great so many places to explore we could have stayed another day or two in Strontian. The breakfast at the Strontian Hotel was perhaps the best (and coffee!) we had in Scotland, and the serving staff were lovely. It is because of the kindness of the servers at dinner, and breakfast that I have rated this stay as highly as I have. Lovely bathtub and hot water!

Cons:

I have never felt the need to give a negative review before, but I would never recommend this place- and would never stay there again. The person (manager or owner I don't know} who checked us in was border-line rude. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in (I could feel the bed springs!). When I informed the manager, she did speak to me and provided an extra "topper" for the bed, but did not seem concerned- told me no one else had "complained". Also the bathroom did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned in a while.
