Pros:

gefallen hat mir besonders die absolute Freundlichkeit des Personals, ein sehr gutes Abendessen und ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Zimmer waren Sauber, die Teppiche die ausgelegt waren sahen aber trotzdem schon sehr alt und ver braucht aus. Das Bad war ebenfalls Sauber aber nicht gemütlich und nicht einladend. Das Anwesen an sich ist schön, hätte aber noch viel mehr Potential wenn etwas mehr Geld in Instandhaltung investiert werden würde.

Für uns ein wunderschöner Jahreswechsel ohne große Party, sondern in Ruhe und mit viel Entspannung.
Pros:

Genau die richtige Adresse, um den Alltag mal hinter sich zu lassen. Großes Zimmer im Nebengebäude, geschichtsträchtiges Haupthaus mit gemütlichem Restaurant und ein sehr nettes und gastfreundliches Personal. Im gesamten Schlosskomplex herrschte eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre

Cons:

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Wenn überhaupt, dann der Fakt, dass der Park vielleicht ein wenig mehr Pflege braucht.

Nicht zu empfehlen
Pros:

Am besten hat uns das Fitnessstudio und der Spa-Bereich gefallen. Beim Sport war sehr viel Auswahl und der Spa-Bereich ist sehr schön ausgestattet. Auch zwei Massagesessel standen zur Verfügung. Weiterhin ist positiv hervorzuheben, dass einige Mitarbeiter deutsch sprachen.
Das Abendessen war jeden Tag reichhaltig und lecker. Nur ein wenig mehr Auswahl wäre schön gewesen.
Abends haben wir uns beim Tischtennis oder auf der Bowlingbahn aufgehalten.

Cons:

Die Kommunikation und der Service sind unterirdisch. Beispielsweise wurde am Heiligabend, während wir in der Sauna saßen, das Licht im Wellness Bereich ausgeschaltet und es wurde begonnen zu putzen. Es wurde uns nicht gesagt, bzw gab es keinen Aushang darüber, dass an diesem Tag die Sauna um 16 Uhr schließt. Spätestens, als wir eine Stunde zuvor Handtücher für die Sauna abgeholt haben, hätte man uns sagen müssen, dass an diesem Tag zeitiger Schluss ist. Wir hatten uns auf Weihnachten in der Sauna gefreut.
Darüber hinaus gibt es im Wellness Bereich lediglich eine Trockensauna und eine Nass-Sauna. Sechs Holzliegen steht zur Verfügung. Da fragt man sich, wo die Gäste verweilen sollen, wenn das Hotel besser besucht ist.
Das Frühstück war sehr übersichtlich. Wir waren meist die einzigen, die zum Frühstück da waren, weil das Hotel einfach leer war. Dennoch sollte für jeden Gast ausreichend Angebot bereitgestellt werden. Es standen täglich fünf leere Behälter auf dem Tisch, eine Sorte Käse, eine Sorte Wurst und Joghurts aus dem Plastikbecher.
Am Heiligabend war der Frühstücksraum dann voll besucht und die Auswahl war sehr viel größer. Man konnte satt werden, aber befriedigend ist das Frühstück nur, wenn man ein Fischliebhaber ist.
Der Ort ist sehr abgelegen. Man kann nichts unternehmen, die nächste größere Stadt ist 45 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.
Das Personal ist insgesamt sehr verhalten, kein Lächeln, keine Frage nach unser Zufriedenheit nach dem Essen oder unserem Aufenthalt. Einige haben unsere Fragen gleich abgeschmettert mit "Ich nichts verstehen". Bei anderen wiederum konnte man auf Englisch oder mit Händen und Füßen kommunizieren.
