Peaceful oasis with friendly, staff. Relaxing ambiance.
A tranquil escape within the city. I really enjoyed my stay here. Incredibly clean and a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
My only suggestion would be to have an ironing board and iron available for guests.

The breakfast could be a bit better considering the price
Charming and cozy little hotel. They have only about 8 rooms and it feels very homey and friendly. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to help me find a place to do laundry on a holiday. It is actually a local cafe which also has a hotel attached to it, so when the cafe is open, there are food and drink options. Breakfast is fresh cooked to order, from a selection of set menus.
The advantage of the place is also its disadvantage. Because it is primarily a cafe, when the cafe is closed (evenings, weekends and holidays), the entire compound is closed, and you have to get buzzed in and out from the main gate. For much of the time I was there, I was the only guest, and the cafe was closed, so the place was completely abandoned, with only one or two staff members, whose sole role was to buzz me in and out and make me breakfast. It felt a bit uncomfortable. Most of the staff do not speak English, and during most of my stay there was one staff member who did speak English (I think his name is Diego) who was responsible for me and did all of the night shifts. He was great and I appreciate his help, but I felt a bit sorry for him.

It was delicious, efficient (ordered ahead) more than enough. It was ready at expected time.
Would be nice to have hairdryer in every room
The breakfast was made to order and delicious. It was served in the cafe with a view of the gardens, which at least during my visit (the beginning of Spring) were incredibly gorgeous (flowers, fruit trees, a hummingbird feeder with a hummingbird who made an appearance every morning). The room was small but comfortable, and the bathroom was comfortable. The entire hotel was decorated beautifully, with a lot of wood and French-theme. We had a flight at 7 AM our last day, and when we told the staff we were leaving at that time they offered to make us breakfast at 5 AM, something we hadn't expected.
The room (two single beds) was a bit small, but manageable.

Very cute, everything was petite. Accommodating your breakfast time to your time. A good breakfast. Staff was also very helpful and attentive to our needs. They have gated onsite parking at no charge. Easy to find and a good location away from most traffic. Walking distance to many restaurants and park. They even let us check in early with no fees. A family run hotel and personal attention given.
Only thing for us, is that our lower room was not very sound proof. We could hear the staff, and felt they could hear us too if we were too loud.
The hotel felt like an oasis. It was clean, quiet, sunny. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was just a pleasure to be there and it was a great value.
