Good food in the bar/restaurant! (Scallops & pizza.)

Cons:

Wanted a double bed but could only get two twins.
Neighbours were quiet, fortunately, but there is little soundproofing between units or the traffic.
Good to be able to eat in the room, but it's awkward to have to wash up in the bathroom sink.

Basic but comfortable. Great shower. Great if you want a bed in a room with an electric blanket.

It had the basics well covered; clean, and tidied with new linen made available which was a nice surprise; layout was practical, nice to have the wee breakfast bar for food prep and working, decent shower.

Cons:

It is tired; well past needing a revamp which would make it much more pleasant.

Pros:

The staff that I saw were lovely. The person I checked in with at the bar was friendly and professional. Checking out was easy. The pub attached closed early so I didn't have an issue with noisy bar patrons.

Cons:

There were a few housekeeping issues, one of which I brought up with the person who came around to do the cleaning the next morning.
