Fijn verblijf am heiligen Berg
Pros:

Nette kamers.

Cons:

Locatie is redelijk ver van het centrum. Maar bus 643 stopt bij het hotel.

Sehr geräumiges Zimmer (Turmzimmer mit Rundblick), Billardtisch in der Lobby zur freien Nutzung, sehr ruhig, zügiger und effizienter Check-in und Check-out

Cons:

Frühstückszeiten von 07 - 09 Uhr, insbesondere am Wochenende, sind ungewöhnlich und nicht nach jedermanns Geschmack, Auswahl beim Frühstück war eher einfach, aber ausreichend

Für 1-2 Nächte -um Wuppertal zu erkunden- positiv interessantes Konferenzhotel
Pros:

Tolles Gebäude, neu restauriert. Das alte Hochschulgebäude kann man, vorallem im Treppenhaus, noch gut erahnen. Für Konferenzen/Schulungen sehr gut geeignet, aber auch als Privatperson kann man dort sehr gut übernachten. Selten so gut in einem Hotelbett geschlafen. Auch das Frühstücksbuffett war gut, verschiedenste Kaffee-u.Teesorten incl. Wir würden wieder dort übernachten.

Cons:

Das Zimmer ist neu renoviert, Fenster ebenso ganz neu, aber sehr steril. 1-2 Bilder an den Wänden würden es heimeliger machen.

Pros:

Beautiful spacious. Up a very steep hill. Lovely trees. Very polite and lovely staff. Immaculately clean.

Cons:

View from the tower window overlooked a scaffolded building site. The room contained a strangely placed huge wardrobe which had a TV behind it. You couldn't watch TV in bed.. it was on the other side. And it blocked all the light and views. It actually spoiled a lovely spacious room. It didn't have a lot of wardrobe space in it actually for such a huge thing. It's been a youth hostel before and I presume they've had bunk beds around it to create privacy. I think they should remove it and use the space more beautifully in such a potentially fabulous round room. Also no restaurant open.

Quiet place to stay in busy Wuppertal
Pros:

Quiet place in Wuppertal in green surroundings. Comfortable rooms. Good self-service restaurant (make a reservation for your meals a few days before your stay). There's a city bus going to the hotel.
