Pros:

Behavior of the staff, spacious room, by and large clean, food

Cons:

The 3rd floor room where I stayed was noisy at times because of the roar of the cleaning machine upstairs.

I booked a Delux Executive Room but was given a lower category room. The staff kept insisting I booked the lower category room.

Food at Zafrang was cooked the previous day.

Pros:

In a small town, it was amazing to see how professional the staff were. the front desk was smooth and courteous, food was good, Housekeeping was always one call away. The only menace is the hospital just opposite the street and the Hotel should seriously consider alternatives at least for the main reception entry.

An oasis of sublime serenity in Central Berhampur.
Pros:

The hotel is really fantastic. It's a real case of value for money. The location, the breakfast, the staff, the restaurants, the rooms and the overall ambience are really nice. The hotel is incentive enough for me to warrant a second visit to the place. The Zafran restaurant is awesome and two items out of the three items that we'd had, Chicken Patiala and the Blueberry Cheesecake were perhaps the best two items that I'd had in a long, long time.

Cons:

Nothing. This hotel is just awesome. Considering the price that we paid, I really do not have much to complain about. Excellent place to just laze about and enjoy life.

The Golden Retreat Berhampur is an excellent place to stay.

The best part of this hotel is about it's location. 7 - 8 mins walking distance from main train station. Very close to Berhampur Mohona Busstand, Police Station, PSK Centre. The hotel is nicely equipped, decorated and well maintained. Superb clean. I loved the live kitchen and the main restaurant. 😍

Food quality is very good.

Another superb positive part of this hotel is very professional and friendly staff 👍

Sumit and Ahan was there during my stay and they were super helpful and friendly guy. They helped me to reach PSK smoothly.

Oh yes I love the garden and the lawn and the big wayerbody behind the hotel. Because of that big water body very less dust and pollution surrounding the hotel premises as well as loads of birds 🐦 and their beautiful chirping sound. A very good positive vibes to start your day.

I will go back again to enjoy two to three days relaxing nights, good food and to do some Murshidabad Historical sightseeing.

Cons:

They were very neglectful about making the most of their very good facilities. The most ridiculous thing was blocking the route from the pool to the garden seating by using it as a storage space for chairs. I was directed to use the service lift to the kitchen to access the garden.

Nice, comfortable & safe.
Pros:

We liked the desk staff, the cleanliness and the comfort.

Cons:

We loved the place. But since we did'nt avail the breakfast buffet, the a la carte was very slow. The restaurant was short staffed for the morning rush.
