Perfect location, in the middle of the rice fields. Mattress extremely comfortable. Large room equipped with individual terrace. Very good restaurant with qualitative food. Staff speaks English (that’s worth mentioning it compared to the other hotels we’ve stayed at in Indonesia)

The Teras is awesome. You can takes the bicycles and ride around. The breakfast was tasty.
The bikes are in a bad condition. Gears don’t work, breaks are bad. Other than that the rest is great.
What I love about Teras Ijen Hotel in Banyuwangi is the natural rural atmosphere and the view of the green fields in the morning, which is very refreshing for the eyes. It's a wonderful place for me to relax and unwind. The rooms are very modern and beautifully designed. The staff are polite and friendly. I received a free upgrade because the room I booked was not available at the time, and I requested two adjacent rooms. I appreciate their effort to accommodate my request. Another thing I liked is the delicious hotel food. I ordered several dishes for dinner, and in my opinion, they were tasty.
What I found lacking was the swimming pool, which seemed quite ordinary. It felt like it was just there without much thought, looking too plain and not matching the surrounding area. I suggest making the pool more natural, like those in Ubud, Bali, perhaps by enhancing the walls or the area around the pool.
Secondly, I felt the breakfast was somewhat lacking. It could be improved, for example, by offering simple snacks that are characteristic of Banyuwangi's local cuisine.

Nothing , everything is perfect
The hotel is beautifully situated next to rice paddies but also just off the road so doesn't feel isolated or cut off. The room itself was spacious and simple but had everything necessary. The staff were kind and super accommodating of requests. The porch with the comfortable furniture was a huge highlight as we got to sit and enjoy sunsets with ease.
