Enjoyable stay on a basic room
Pros:

Staff were welcoming and friendly
Food was very good
Location was central and all amenities ans attractions were walkable

Cons:

Room was very basic and bland. Some of the furniture was tatty. Edging to the bedside table was peeling off. Some bathroom fittings, ie shelf, were missing.
Bed was not very comfortable.

Good Value for Money
Pros:

Perfect location, reasonable price, lovely breakfast, nice service.

Cons:

Little bit of noise (expected- it's a pub after all).
Shower was hanging off the wall. Carpets a bit grubby. Bedside shelf was a long way away from bed!
Water was extremely hot and cold tap just a trickle. Mentioned to staff to look into.

Rooms at street level, door to the parking and pub terrace
Parking very limited - had to park away from the venue, and had to pay for parking. I did enquire about parking availability but didn't get a response

Pros:

Excellent location, short walk from both railway stations; good vibe in the pub; room quite adequate; good breakfast; friendly and accommodating staff.

In poor condition.
Pros:

Good location. Close to town.

Cons:

Shower backed up so we couldn't use it. This was 8pm. The place is scruffy and needs a lot of improvement. Breakfast was good. Parking is very limited and difficult to maneuver in.
