Eine Erfahrung, die ich empfehlen kann. Vom Zimmer, den Gemäuern über das Essen bis zur Laudes mit den Benediktinern.

Wir kommen wieder.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig. Das Abendessen im schönen Restaurant war sehr fein und das Personal aufmerksam. Ein toller Ort, zum entspannen und schöne Velotouren im Thurgau zu unternehmen.

Was für eine Wohltat! Endlich wieder einmal eine höchst professionelle Unterkunft mit grossartiger Gastronomie! Vom Empfang bis zum Abschied: Die Gastfreundschaft war wunderbar, auf hohem Niveau und - seien es die modernen Zimmer oder das reichhaltige Frühstück - überall spürbar und überzeugend!

Schön gibt es solche Fundstücke noch! Zeitweilen gehen einem die vielen überteuerten sowie unprofessionell geführten Unterkünfte auf den Senkel. Das Kloster Fischingen gehört definitiv nicht dazu und überrascht mit exklusiver Kulinarik, ob auf der hübsch gestalteten Terrasse im Klostergarten oder drinnen im zeitlosen, schlicht gehaltenen Saal.

Und dann das superfeine Bier der ansässigen Klosterbrauerei! Sensationell! Nur schon dafür lohnte sich meine achtstündige Fussreise! Das grosse Sortiment - obwohl ich mich nicht durch das gesamte Angebot trinken konnte - war fantastisch!

Kurz: Ein Ort den man sehr gerne besucht! Ich komme wieder, keine Frage!

Beautiful and quiet kloster hotel
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel and room in a beautiful setting. The room was spacious and lovely, bed super comfortable, everything was quiet and serene, very peaceful. The kloster itself is beautiful. Breakfast was standard but nice and plentiful.

Cons:

The only regret we have is not staying more than one night.

Ich freue mich, im Mai mit einer kleinen Gruppe wieder hier zu Gast zu sein.
Pros:

Die barocken Räume und das Interieur sind so feinfühlig aufeinander abgestimmt - nicht kitschig - verbindend modern und alt. Das Essen war hervorragend. Der Service am Abend aufmerksam, authentisch und gewinnend. Die Raumeinteilung des Zimmers ist zweckmässig und lädt zum Sein ein.

Cons:

Die Betten waren für uns etwas zu hart. Und Vorsicht beim Verlassen des Zimmers, wenn du etwas grösser bist als 170 cm: Man kann sich den Kopfanstossen, weil die Türrahmen sehr niedrig sind.
