Lovely hotel and pub with friendly bar staff
Cleaning staff in morning knocked and entered our room at 10.10 and my husband was completely naked 😩 the. Proceeded to knock several times after m.
Also it would have been nice to have water in the room.
The property was in a lovely location - a few minutes walk to the beach and a bus stop right outside the hotel for the coastal bus
Food in the hotel was lovely
We feel breakfast should be included in the accommodation price.
Our bed mattress needs updating - it was way too springy!
The whole Hotel is beautifully decorated. There is clearly someone with a sense of style who plans and furnishes the rooms, facilities and equipment so it all looks great on the surface. The rooms were clean and the food was good.
We paid the top end of what I would normally pay, and so was expecting "great", but the little bits let the stay down and we left disappointed, nothing really major but a few irritants that added up. The suite was up a couple of small flights of narrow stairs which felt crammed in (and not much like a suite) more like a loft conversion. Inside the rooms were well done, but the room next to the bedroom lacked a table. We ate in the restaurant, the food and service was excellent, but knives and forks weren't clean and cups had lipstick on. When we came to checkout the bill was wrong and we had been charged for someone else's drinks. All quickly sorted but it just gave the impression that the operation was stretched and making mistakes. We were also told breakfast would have been included if we booked direct, great for the Business but not for the Customer who wouldn't know, adds to the impression of poor value.
Great staff & friendly locals
Be carful to choose rooms before you arrive as we ended up in The Lodge a superbly refurbished cottage accept we got rooms in the attic which was reached by a perilous set of stairs.
Lovely room
Rather expensive
Basic however it’s what you need, decent sized bed, bathroom.
Great service, the staff were super friendly and after a long drive up from Devon the food was absolutely outstanding.
It’s a lovely hotel, very quiet and close to Old Hunstanton beach
Unfortunately the rooms are not suited to really hot weather. But where in the UK is? It was a sweaty sleep, but otherwise comfortable
Loved location ,with patio
Patio was overlooked by cleaning
The staff were lovely. The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfy
The shower came from the pits of hell and could not be adjusted.
Very comfortable room great bed linen was quality, light and airy, lovely big bathroom
Could have done with a better placed socket for the hairdryer
Apart from that it was great
Location, we were in the new annex so it was fresh and quiet.
Nothing specfic
The property is situated in a lovely part of Old Hunstanton and is a good walk to the main town. The room was spacious with a very large and comfortable bed. Not slept that well in a long time! The shower was lovely also! A really relaxing stay - would highly recommend this hotel!
