Pros:

Absolutely loved this place! It’s definitely worth the price. The room came with a private bathroom—both were spacious and very clean. We also enjoyed using the swimming pool at night.

We really appreciated the warm welcome from the lady when we arrived and the great service until we checked out the next day. Highly recommended!

Un paraíso en medio de una naturaleza extraordinaria
Pros:

Dp de una mala experiencia llegué decepcionada a este paraíso y me mimaron con la Captain's Suite. Con mi terraza al jardín exótico y vista a la piscina. Los dueños, Mummy y el captain mismo son un encanto y muy majos los dos. Me llevaron la primera noche a un restaurante donde cené muy bien con ellos.
El captain me preparó cada mañana un desayuno abundante incluso tortilla española. Y a mediodía algo ligero pq estaba un poco enfermo.

Cons:

Está un poco lejos del pueblo en medio de la jungla pero todo se puede arreglar o con grab o andando si estás bien en eso. Pero para mí era genial para chill down.

The location of the property just nice to stay and walk around even to have breakfast, lunch and dinner all nearby.
Pros:

Very clean and friendly resort. The room was big enuf with full air conditioning. The toilet was nice decorated and the water was crystal clear.

De nieuwe definitie van gastvrijheid
Pros:

Ik fiets van Singapore naar Amsterdam. Kota Bahru zou de laatste stop voor Thailand worden en ik wilde iets meer luxe om even uit te rusten. Toen ik aankwam was ik uitgeput en stonk als een Durian vrucht. Ik verlangde naar een douche en een schoon bed. De kapitein en zijn vrouw zagen dat en gaven mij hun beste kamer. Op de begane grond, met een eigen terras en directe toegang tot het zwembad. En bovenal smetteloos schoon en koel.
De dagen die ik hier doorbracht waren de beste van mijn tijd in Maleisie. Ik werd opgenomen in het gezin en kon bij elke maaltijd aanschuiven. Het hotel ligt in een typisch Maleisische kampong. De mensen zijn niet rijk, maar zonder uitzondering vriendelijk en geinteresseerd. Het is hier rustig. Geen lawaai van verkeer, alleen het gezang van vogels en krekels. En een aantal keren per dag in de verte de oproep tot gebed.
Als er 1 plaats in Maleisie is waar ik ooit nog eens naar zou terugkeren is het wel Captain's Cabin Resort. Misschien dat ik hier ooit een paar maanden in retraite ga om eindelijk eens mijn boek af te schrijven.
Ik ben in honderden hotels te gast geweest. In Maleisie en over de hele wereld. Qua ervaring staat Captain's Cabin Lodge op een terechte eerste plaats.

Me and Josh absolutely adored this place! It absolutely exceeded our expectations. The house was so stunning, and interesting to look around. We felt very taken care of by the family here and even had dinner together with the Captain and his lovely wife. What a wonderful family! Thank you so much for hosting us! We wanted to stay longer, what a lovely hidden gem this place was, we will be back! The attention to detail was so apparent & the place is exceptional. 5*
