The food was excellent
The long corridors to the room, not so good with people of limited mobilty
Extremely convenient location , clean and comfortable, had EV charging
Breakfast was understaffed - not all food options were available up at a busy time eg bacon and egg’s presumably because enough staff weren’t free to keep them topped up. The onsite EV chargers are new and plentiful but unintuitive - we and fellow EV chargers had to call up the provider for support.
Great location
Everything
The atmosphere and welcoming stuff
Room was clean but there was a strange smell. Beds were clean. AC was very effective. Room was quite small and ensuite was very small. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was acceptable.
Room and ensuite were very worn and old. Not very comfortable in general.
The most friendly staff ever!
No kettle in room.
Clean room, nice bathroom, good breakfast (if a little expensive)
Room was very small (you could touch both walls from either side of the bed)
Location was good - close to M1 and A52. Breakfast was okay, good choice and helpful staff, but rather over-priced. Air conditioning worked well and was useful for the hot nights during our stay.
Room was quite a long walk from reception, decor was a bit tired and jaded and the room was on the very small side (only about 450mm each side of the double bed).
Helpful, friendly reception staff. Room in quiet area of hotel. Comfortable and clean.
Very small shower room.
(However it was well equipped and everything worked fine so no complaints.)
Location.
Cleanliness. Tattered room, broken bathroom fan, broken lamp, mouldy bathroom ceiling, strong mildew smell in bathroom, brown smears on door, brown stains all over curtains.
I came for the Download weekend, paid over £800 and only had my bed made once, there was no cleaning done, tea facilities not replaced all weekend.
Do you not bother because it was the download festival weekend?
Well, I paid an extortionate price and received very little basic service. I’m 45 years old, not my first Holiday Inn stay, and felt like a second class guest in a dirty room.
Very friendly welcome. Room was clean and quiet.
Very tired and dated. Room was tatty and very much in need of new carpets and redecoration.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Bar/restaurant area was really nice and open until 1am over the festival weekend
Room was a good size and if you needed anything extra reception were happy to help/provide
You can order Starbucks coffee at the bar which was great for the early morning starts
Breakfast wasn’t great- we ordered it to our room and it was wrong each time. Might have been better if we went to the restaurant but we stayed at this hotel last year and done the same thing and we had no issues back then. So maybe it’s just hit or miss.
We were at a family wedding in Nottingham and this was a convenient stay over. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast and the carvery made it good value for money .
Initially our room key didn’t work and the bedding for the sofa bed was not in the room. The staff were very quick to sort both issues.
Bathroom sink was cracked. Room was very small.
good breakfast. friendly staff over all at the bar, restaurant and receptions
