No plug sockets by rhe bed for charging phones ect. But not really an issue as plent of other sockets in the room 😊
Loved everything about this hotel, such a bonus having Penh House close by with it's stunning roof top pool.

This is a stunning property with phenomenal staff. The grounds are beautiful to walk around and the pool area is a lovely space to enjoy the delicious and generous breakfast. We were treated to a free upgrade, which provided us with a spacious room and great bathroom - the best of our trip around South East Asia! The room also had everything you would expect and need, including complimentary water daily. Additionality, the location was great for access to the Royal Palace and various bars and restaurants.
On our early check-out, the hotel kindly made us a takeaway breakfast which was much appreciated.
The pool was not our favourite of the trip, as it is surrounded by a lot of greenery. This makes for a lovely place to sit and relax, however the pool itself ends up with various debris and insects from the plants and trees nearby.
Breakfast was fine and fast. It could have been warmer (the bacon) and the coffee had been cooked for awhile, but but otherwise it was fine. The room was ok and I was provided with and iron and ironing board when I asked. The staff was very pleasant and helpful
When I arrived, I was told I had been given an upgraded room. It was nice and large, but the air con did not work - even set to 16 degrees and at full blast.
I was then moved to a 2nd room, about 30% smaller - I was told it was the room I had purchased originally - but that air con did not cool the room either after 2 hours, even when set to 16 degrees and the fan on high.
Finally, at 10 pm, I was shown a 3rd room where the air con was working correctly. Since I had unpacked previously, I needed to repack and move for the 2nd time. Finally got into a working room by 1030 pm
The staff was nice and helpful, but it was clear that nobody had been checking/servicing the air cons and it took awhile to get me into a working room in a pretty obviously empty hotel. I didn't see any other guests there until 36 hours later. So finding me a working room should not have been a problem.
I visit Phnom Penh 3-4x a year for work and while I'm not expecting Raffles Hotel 5-star care at this price point, I do expect to have a working air con.
Everything else worked fine: wifi, hot water, bed, etc. and the staff tried their best to help me.
But I don't think I'll be coming back again

The location is perfect, it is in a very quiet street but at walk distance from the royal palace and very lively part of the city. I was initially assigned to a ground floor room, just next to the reception, but when I asked if the have an upper floor room available, they moved us on the first floor and this was a much better one. There was the option ( paying) of a late check out that was very convenient for us ( international flight in the evening). Overall I was very pleased with this hotel, in a French building and with a very nice garden.
Breakfast is ok, nicely served close to the swimming pool, but less generous than what we normally got in Cambogia.
