A nice stay, in a great location, and overall underwhelming.
Pros:

Location is excellent. Staff very friendly. Resident lounge is a key feature.

Cons:

Room was too small, or bed was too big! Could not open room door completely as is hit the bed. Breakfast was not as expected. Bacon and sausages were warm/cool, not hot. Cooked long before being served.

Very pleasant stay.
Pros:

Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Got us in early, a big help for worn-out travelers.

Cons:

Tub was difficult to use because of the high walls. Third floor hard to reach for someone with bad knees. Limited waterfront view.

Everything about this property was exceptional. Location, quality, comfort, staff, breakfasts, everything. This is the 5th year in a row I have been to Islay and it certainly won’t be the last. Hopefully next time they are available again as I’d love to spend more time here. Before going to sleep on an evening, watching the lighthouses flashing, miles away in the darkness, then waking up to that incredible view out to sea and the beach. It was idilc. Not that there’s much in the way of crime on Islay but it was very reassuring also to be able to park my bike in the parking area around the back instead of on the main road out front.

Cons:

There wasn’t one thing I didn’t like about No 1 Charlotte street, well apart from the fact I had to leave at the end of our stay.

Cons:

Was all lovely but very pricey compared to other hotels we stayed and relatively small (but nice) rooms with very basic bathrooms

Le salon avec TV. On a joué aux cartes en prenant plusieurs superbes whisky de l'Île!

Cons:

Le manque de barres de sécurité dans le bain.
Très facile de glisser et tomber.

Pros:
