Very basic but clean and comfortable
Bed was comfortable and water was hot
No room servicing over the 2 nights
Dirty crockery. Only one of everything when the room was set up for 2
Shower flooded
Bathroom basin leaked
Smoke alarm without a battery
Paper thin walls
The staff where excellent, the food in the restaurant was outstanding (highly recommend the chicken and corn soup).
Good convenient location, and an excellent price. Good meals in the attached pub, and was made to feel very welcome, even though I was late arriving.

The room we were supposed to stay in was occupied by someone else.
The place was untidy and dirty. The staff were smoking in front of our room and we were breathing cigarette smoke all night. The doors were slammed every time they were closed. I have cancelled the second night and got a refund in cash. The eftpos machine didn’t work.
Comfortable beds, good location for walking, share bath(s) were well maintained. Friendly staff
Saturday evening pub noise went on past midnight.
Proximity with the city, nice restaurant good staff
Dirty kettle, smell of sweat in the toilets, size of the walls you can hear everything
Just perfect for a bike trip
Not much
Good for a short stay in Queenstown. The rooms are attached to a pub & restaurant. Great bathroom facilities (strong shower).
Cramped rooms with poor soundproofing, could hear all the water pipes throughout the rooms. Limited facilities (there is a microwave in the sheltered outdoors shared space)
Nothing. We were given the wrong room. No apologies and no help in being moved to the correct room. Then tried to charge the full price. The food in the bistro was ok.
Staff co-operation was non existent. The fact that we were put in the wrong room. No direction for booking in. We walked around the whole building until we went into the bistro. It was like we were a nuisance to the staff.
We didn’t stay, felt very uncomfortable and nervous
Room was small but very clean and quiet.
breakfast n/a - location...well it was in Queenstown.
Lighting and noise control from beer garden.
Location was very good
Bed linen was not up to standard- possibly had already been used? Pillowcases were dirty. Teaspoon had a hair stuck to it. Cobwebs. Stains on carpet.
They offered a 'continental breakfast' for $15 pp... for cereal and toast? Be for real.
I get that I was going for budget, but in hindsight; I should’ve just slept in my car. The designated smoking area for the pub is directly outside the rooms. When I arrived my window was open so smelled like an ashtray. While the room had the basics and the bed was comfy enough, a lamp wouldn’t go a stray? The only light source being a blaring fluro. That you had to get out of bed to switch off as the other fluro above the next was broken.
Having said that, if you’re ok with cigarette smoke, non stop noise and bugger all privacy, then sure, give this a go!
