Very fine room.
Every year they do the same thing: I arrive and they don't have my booking, I need to pay by card but they only accept cash. Is this modern India or middle ages? If you use Booking.com, then use it: I want to see that my booking is honored and my arrival is not a surprise, and I want my billing to be prompt and professional, not this "we don't accept card paymet" excuse.
Milan, the woman in the reception is very helpful and kind.

Swiming pool is there but they didn't put the notice regarding that so it's a bad experience.
Also wifi was not working and food is so expensive and not so good in taste .
So from my side I suggest every one to not make a plan to in that property just a pathetic experience.
Breakfast & Staff Behaviour
Intercom was not working. It was irritating always to open the door and reach out to staff. Need to fix in an urgent basis
The receptionist is an absolute angel.
Nice view on in the cafe to Rishikesh and Ganga. Kind Restaurant staff.
Pool had no water even thouht it's listed. Price for two persons in the same room is the double price for 1 person in the room. So for only breakfast extra you pay double price. On the menu in the Restaurant are many things not available. For example put of 7 breakfasts only one is available and there 50% of the listed things.
The balcony was dirty and had no seating option. Unlike written, you have no view from the room to the river/Rishikesh. The view is only in tue cafe.
Room was very nice, bed comfy, staff helpful.
It was not clean, molded pillow cases, they exchanged for clean. TV not working, pool was dry, breakfast late.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was originally for 5 nights and then onto Srinagar in Kashmir, but it was covered snow and too cold to stay on a houseboat so I decided to spend my entire time here in Rishikesh and at the Cordelia Inn.
I loved the food and service. The Indian breakfasts were delicious as was the rest of the menu. Every member of staff were so warm and friendly toward me. Any enquiry I had was promptly answered. I felt very sad to leave India (this is my third visit to India).
I would highly recommend staying here. It's such a friendly place and great value for money. Fantastic location too - just a 5 minute walk downhill to Laxman Jhula Road (although walking back up is a bit of workout - but you'll need it to burn off all that delicious Indian vegetarian food that's everywhere!)
Would happily stay here again on my next visit to Rishikesh.

My only slight gripe is that the air conditioning unit only puts cool or normal air temperature. It would've been nice to switch on for a bit just to remove the chill off the air. But I had an extra duvet/blanket to keep me warm. It's not a big deal, it didn't ruin my stay or anything.
We had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was very clean.
Beautiful views, away from the noise and yet only a short walk to the market or shopping area. The staff go out their way to assist. They found a way to connect me live to the Rugby world cup and organized transport to my next destination. The chef, Arvind is brilliant and even bond with the guests personally to determine their tastes before he prepares their meals. What can I say...5 star service.
The fact that I could not stay longer.
Lovely location in a quiet part of town. Great views from the rooftop restaurant. The staff on reception go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and are incredibly attentive and kind. The little pool was wonderful and the gardens are well kept
If you do t have a car the walk down to the restaurants and shops can be a little steep but I personally enjoyed the walk as it’s a nice area
Quiet area, nice staff.
Had to call roomservice multiple times to get some food witch came after two hours, not that great food eather. Dissapointing overall experience, not worth the high price.
Absolutely amazing stay, hospitality was excellent, the hotel is beautiful and peaceful. Amazing view from the restaurant terrace :) Food was wonderful, staff so helpful and sweet. They can also arrange tours for you. Highly recommend!
My time spent at Cordelia Inn was exceptional. The Manager Vikas Sharma is a true professional, it is obvious he has a long history in the hospitality industry as all my needs were met and nothing was a problem. The arrival of check in was an easy, smooth process and I was quickly soon my room to which was outstanding. The quality of the beds are so comfortable and was welcomed as I am practicing yoga daily. Room service was available with a simple phone call from my room and a large menu to choose from.
The staff were friendly and professional and the property is ideally located not too far from the Main Street but peaceful and quiet with stunning views of the Gangga.
