6 women travelling as a group from Australia, well accommodated in 3 rooms and felt safe.
Pros:

Friendly, warm and safe feeling. Close to everything. Loved it! Food in house was excellent when ordered. Great value for money. Staff and owners made us feel welcome. Simple accomodation, we did yoga on the upper roof which was lovely too. Would highly recommend for mid to low budget travellers and anyone looking for a clean safe warm environment.

Cons:

Nothing, great value for money.

Lovely property, well maintained, great location and friendly staff.
Pros:

Good location. Walking distance to many cafes and the Ganga. Friendly and very helpful staff. Carried our suitcase up all those stairs.

Cons:

No mirror in the room apart from a small mirror above vanity in the bathroom. A lot of stairs to get to our top floor room.

A Perfect Guest House in the heart of Tapovan, Rishikesh
Pros:

Seventh Heaven is a wonderful guest house close to all of the key sights and amenities of Tapovan, Rishikesh. It is run by a lovely family, supported by a great team, who are so welcoming and keen to give you a great experience.

The rooms are spacious and very clean and the food is wonderful!

Friendly local stay. You get what you pay for. Clean and in a good location.
Pros:

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. As a female solo traveler I felt extremely safe and enjoyed the company of other guests sleeping there. The location is really central in the hub of spiritual activities and a short walk from the river. Food was also very yummy.

Cons:

My room at the top floor was very noisy at night, something kept banging all night long. A pipe perhaps, which affected sleep. Also the room would smell very bad after a time, so they have some sewage issues. Easily resolved by pouring a bucket of water down the drain.

I had run out of cash but they said the only taxi they could get me was 1500 which I didn’t find very helpful. Luckily I had made a contact outside of the hotel who got me a reparable and licensed taxi for a 1000. I think the hotel could have done a better job at helping me to be honest.

On se sent très bien accueilli et on dort bien :)
Pros:

Le personnel est chaleureux et accueillant. Les chambres sont grandes et propres. La nourriture servie est excellente. L’endroit où l’hôtel est situé est calme et nous éloigne du bruit de la ville. Je recommande chaudement cet endroit!

Cons:

Je n’ai rien à signaler de négatif.

Great stay
Pros:

It located in a nice relatively quiet block. The host and family were very welcoming. This place has a home like feeling. The room i stayed in faced the street and a balcony and enough windows to be bright. I would definitely recommend this place.

Prima hotel op goede locatie
Pros:

De locatie is goed, het is wel soort van charmant hotel maar nog steeds Indiaas, dus niet zo goed onderhouden etc. En ik vond het redelijk prijzig voor wat je krijgt, ik begrijp al die hoge scores eerlijk gezegd echt niet. Het is prima, maar verder ook niet. De douche is wel echt heet en genoeg water dus dat is fijn.

Cons:

Het is op zich schoon maar beetje verwaarloosd. Kraan zit los etc. Maar goed, het is en blijft India, misschien kijk ik teveel met mijn Europese ogen…Ik had geen airco ofzo, maar kreeg wel soort kacheltje voor de kou.

Friendly & helpful staff, comfy room with great location
Pros:

The staff were lovely and very helpful. I had a nice and spacious room, and good food from the kitchen downstairs. Location is great as I could walk past nice cafes and shops on the way to the Ganges. Also, a very safe place especially if you’re a female solo traveller.

Good, quiet location in Rishikesh. Large rooms with balconies lift it above average Indian hotels.
Pros:

Good size rooms with balconies and pleasant staff. Quiet location.

Cons:

Cleanliness in line with Indian hotel expectations - so mixed at best. Also stayed at sister hotel Seven Stars, where room was huge and facilities newer. But at both locations, hot water was off and on, and basics such as soap, bottled water, etc had to be requested.
