Good breakfast, helpful staff
Car parking arrangements are a pain. If you come and go, the automated system treats every entrance and exit as a separate event and the charges build up quickly. Moreover, if you forget one you are automatically in line for a fine.
Anyone who books at this hotel should automatically get free parking for the duration of their stay.

The car park was close. Unfortunately, that was it. Extremely disappointing. There is nothing else positive i can say.
First of all the reception was extremely shabby looking. This is the first thing your guests see when they arrive. The paint was peeling and it was a disgrace to be honest.
I was on the 3rd floor and i stayed during extremely hot weather. I open the window to let some air in. There was a warning sign that the window had restricted opening, which is totally understandable. Unfortunately, the restricting mechanism didn't actually restrict the window, which opened 90 degrees into the room. Extremely unsafe.
There was a fan provided, which had absolutely no effect whatsoever. Your face had to be about 4 inches from the fan to feel any sort of air movement at all.

Excellent location in central Northampton, comfortable room and good wifi, cleanliness can be better.
