Very run down, simple, and needs to be done up. There is no hot water. The wood around the doors specifically at the bottom is rotting, the walls peeling. The cleaners do a good enough job and that was the only saviour.

The location of the hotel is great, super central and whenever you want to go is walkable from the hotel.
It was clean and good value for money.
The bed was pretty comfortable.

Cons:

Hot water took ages to run and there was no internet whatsoever. The noise from the streets is pretty prominent and so if you have light sleep take that into consideration.

very helpful staff

Cons:

- absolutely no wifi and signal in my room!
- hair on the sink when i first checked in
- cockroach in the room!!
- all the interior in the room was very old
- when i checked in 4 lights our of 6 were out of order and nor working. after informing the staff he was very nice to come up immediately and changed the lighbulbs, but 4 of them??

A member of the staff tried to charge us the taxes twice and then we got a refund. Insects in the room. Very old bathroom that needs renovation.

Convenient place to sleep in Oaxaca
Pros:

Staff was friendly and the location was good (close to the markets).

Cons:

Wi-Fi wasn’t great. People in other rooms was very loud and the staff didn’t act on it. The room was a bit outdated.

Pros:

This hotel was basic, but it was clean, well located, and very friendly - even though I do not speak Spanish and no one in the hotel spoke English, it was just fine. My bed was super comfy, the housekeepers were charming, and the front desk was great. And an amazing taco stand popped up outside every night. I would stay here every time, and I normally go for a 4 star minimum. Great value and nice stay!

Is walking distance to stores, the markets and restaurants

Cons:

Woke up to the house keeping lady talking loud in the hallway before 8 am. I had to open the door to make them know I was still in the room. They did not apologize and kept still talking but not for much longer.

The bathrooms can get a little slippery when you shower, I wished they provided an extra towel for the floor. Overall, everything was great.
