Tatty decor, but not damp. Skirting needs painting, bathroom could do with a makeover.
Creaky floor from above

Nice property. Room disappointing
Pros:

Bar area was excellent. Food was good and staff were very pleasant

Cons:

Room was in urgent need of refurbishment, particularly the bathroom. Staff informed us that refurbishment of rooms was underway and some rooms had ben completed - but not the one we had!!

Ok, friendly atmosphere, food ok
Pros:

Bath room would benefit from a makeover.
Damaged water swollen bath panel, plus lots of drill holes/rawl plugs visible in the walls and tiles

The restaurant and pub are fantastic

Cons:

The rooms are very tired. Has a power issue with the bathroom light and they couldnt fix. And had no clean rooms for us to switch too

Comfortable stay, the toilet handle was a bit of nuisance, but breakfast was marvellous.
Pros:

Ideally situated, I had a beautiful view over open country. Breakfast was exceptional.

Cons:

Toilet handle was very difficult to operate.
