The staff were excellent and so was the food. The room I had was a surprise as it had a balcony albeit it needed some attention. Value for money was very good.
Rooms need a bit if TLC. Furniture looked very worn. Not the hotels fault but next door the guest was up most of the night on their phone talking loudly and in and out on their balcony.

Love the layout the pub was beautiful little area to sit outside. Hotel beds were amazing!!
There was a lovely lady working who signed me in and did our breakfast next morning, she was real kind and understanding.
The bath looked a little questionable but didn't effect our stay as only one night and light not working on right side of the bed

Tea coffee and biscuits
Room was poor. Grubby looking - not due to poor cleaning but lack of maintenence, paint chips etc. Room 16 Very large crack in wall from floor to ceiling (approx 2cm wide). Very warm as windows dont fully open. Fan available but was on a high shelf and didnt notice until we were leaving (own fault!) perhaps leave on dressing table during warm spells.
Great location near our family wedding venue. Staff were cheerful and friendly. Breakfast was good both the buffet and the hot options, although we did have to ask for water. The rooms are dated and need a refresh, however the bed was very comfortable and clean. The hotel has a 3 star rating which is correct in our opinion

Lg comfy bed , Staff were polite, location was lovely. tea tray was lovely to have.
Our fault we should have asked for a ground floor. Bathroom toilet handle not fitted correctly, bath panel needed some attention, Shower tap was so tight found hard to turn on . Ramp nr reception needs a little care as had slightly uplifted slabs not so great if older people.

I’m sad to be leaving a review like this but our experience from arriving to leaving has been awful.
Upon arrival the colleague on reception was rude and abrupt, rudely barking instructions at us.
We then asked about breakfast after calling a few day before we asked over we could add two additional guests they said absolutely, we were told upon arrival absolutely not.
The rooms were dated and dirty along with stain on the linen, there was cracks on the walls corrosion on the bath and just not great.
The rooms were very hot and the window! Didn’t open properly we had a fan that didn’t work.
I’m glad we only stayed one night and didn’t book longer
