Never coming back
Pros:

The room looked nice on the picture. Looked nice in person. No ensuite, not the end of the world. Loved the old style building

Cons:

The basin in the room did not have water to it. The lounge that had tea and coffee making facilities also had no water. The bathroom was disgusting. No maintenance for 10+years

Basic accommodation would stay here again.

Won’t be back
Pros:

The sink in the room had no water. The quilt had no cover. The common room had dvds but no tv or dvd player. The fire alarm went off twice and when we went down the stairs the staff member said there was a fault and it often goes off!!!! There was a broken window in the next room and pigeons living in there. The staff member we spoke with was not very friendly and it was hard to information out of her.

Cons:

The property needs upgrading but was cheap.

Cons:

The entire building was dirty and unkempt. There was pigeon poo on all verandahs and external stairs, the individual room basin was out of order, the bedroom was infested with mosquitos, the security door was left propped open by staff at night compromising our safety, the shared bathroom facilities were inadequate (only one hand basin for all women to use), the electrical items were not tagged and tested, our reserved room was not available and we were asked to wait for the cleaner to prepare another room (upon our arrival at 6 pm), the fire door between upstairs and downstairs was propped open, we were informed that half of the upstairs guests rooms were unsuitable for rent due to non-regulation fire exits.
Our meal, whilst suitable, was delivered by a staff member who did not appear to have any understanding or training in food safety standards or personal hygiene. Our drinks from the fridge were not as cold as we would have liked and suspect the chillers were not running at the required temperature. This complaint will also be forwarded to the local governemntnrelator on the region. We ended up vacating our room at 0230 due to our concerns for our safety and comfort.
