Pros:

Comfortable bed, had dinner meal in same hotel.
RC window heater was great!

Cons:

Basic room, no kettle , no TV, the basin was in room , but no running water, so not usable.
Same floor has a communal lounge with kettle, microwave, same basin with no running water, but had bulk water on table to dispense out of.
Had couches, would have been useful,if it had a TV.

Staff seem to be doing the best they can with the building they've got.
Pros:

Staff had cleaned room and bathroom to what was absolutely possible given the overall age and poor condition of the building.

Cons:

Mould evident all over the place (not daily mould build up but damp related - black mould on ceilings etc), pigeons all through the roof keeping me awake, sink/taps not working in room, and broken lock on door, but seems its more the building itself thats the problem and in need of serious repair.

Staff & comfy bed. Food was nice and arrived promptly.

Cons:

Lack of hot water in the evening and state of showers ( old, cracked and dirty ). Pigeons roosting in the ceiling. Door handles not fully functional.. Carpets not clean. Loud music until 2am.

Convenience re location.
Counter meal.

Cons:

Pigeons in roof above us, dust (presumably from pigeons movement) on pillows! Pigeons on verandah outside room, including piles of manure.
Taps in room and breakfast room signposted unusable. Bathroom and toilets some distance from room.

Comfortable stay but challenging coordinating access on a closed day.
Pros:

Its location and the tearoom was great.

Cons:

The booking was difficult because we had a reservation on day they were closed.
