Excellent location for our need. Very affordable room rates! Lobby and general space are nice an cosy. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The cleanness of the room was acceptable, but the condition of the tiny bathroom with shower was awful. This is probably just applicable to this particular room, because the bathrooms during our earlier stays in this hotel have been better (fair). There was no possibility to pay the stay with credit card, only with cash or bank transfer. Am assuming that the reason for this is that the hotel is still suffering from the aftermaths of the recent pandemic.
Nothing.
I’ll try to be short with this. I basically checked in and checked our few ours later. The room was disgustingly dirty. When I arrived I asked the man in reception to clean as there were hairs on the bed and dirt on the bed tables. He was very apologetic and he cleaned it while we went out for dinner. Few ours after we came back, the hairs were not there anymore so I thought it might had been an unusual mistake and I let it go. When we were about to sleep, we wanted to close the window to avoid mosquitoes inside the room, when we went to do so we found a used condom in the window ! We couldn’t cope with this and we decided to leave the place asap and look for another hotel at 9pm (The staff really insisted on us to cancel the booking on the app for them to rent the room to another person asap …. )
More than that, the place is not newly renovated at all, the rooms are not comfortable, and obviously ZERO cleaning standards. The only acceptable thing I could say was ok was the social area, but I didn’t spend that much time there. I’ve been traveling around Indonesia for almost 4 months and this has been the worst experience in this country.
