Only good looking Decor ...There is no soul to this place !!!!

We didn't like so many things about the place . Just a good looking hotel is never enough when you are on a vacation and want to just have a good time.
Its a very High priced property according to their services and overall vibes and conduct of their staff . NO VALUE FOR MONEY !! In any service industry ..specially hotels . how one treats their guests speaks volume...a smile to the least goes a long way. First day of breakfast they were still cleaning the floors while the same staff was arranging food on the table. we ate our breakfast outside the rest of our stay. Upon a request made on some changes on our stay …just asking about their policies made the reception Manager speak rudely to us . As he actually wasn't aware of the answer, speaks a lot on how most of them are trained. Instead of having an argument or being rude ..he could have just given the answer. Unless the guests are being unreasonable...you smile and serve right !!! UNORGANISED and OVER-PRICED and BAD STAFF CONDUCT

Not value for money. Paying top dollar for the location (sea view) - better value elsewhere closeby.
Pros:

Our sea view suite was spacious and comfortable. We were unable to use our outdoor balcony due to concrete debris and dust everyday from reno's on the rooftop above us. The balcony furniture needs updating.

Cons:

Management should have informed us that renovations were going on upstairs (rooftop) and next door during our stay. Restaurant needs a complete makeover - feels like you're in Grandma's kitchen. The swing doors from dining room through to the elevators need cleaning every day. The breakfast pastries were not fresh during our stay. Outdoor sitting area unwelcoming with rusty tables and chairs covered in dust. Had to ask for daily complimentary water and not once did they give us extra loo paper (just as well we travel with our own supply)

Pros:

The location,and the way the villa looks.the aesthetics of the room and washroom,the owners behaviour.have a boutique hotel feeling.

Cons:

The staff were very rude,no greetings while we checked in,no way of showing gratitude while we left or even helped us with towing luggage during checkout.
Service was worse,they took 2-3 hours to provide water in the room even after multiple calls. No sense of hospitality, though the owner claims that they are a part of Marriott somewhere in India that should mean that they would be the best in hospitality but it was just the opposite.
The taste of the breakfast was very average.
The taste of the dosa only was good that's all very disappointing..
