Shintana Saya La Maison

Staying at this hotel was a dream. We left with a heavy heart. I highly recommend it to everyone! Our room was wonderful, the property is beautiful, and the wonderful staff is always ready to welcome you with a beautiful smile and able to meet your every need. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you were all amazing!

We really enjoyed the stay with the package that the hotel offer. The room was so clean and the atmosphere surrounding by nature without mosquitoes effects. The hotel also offer the early check in so it’s very convenient for us when we arrive early. For The breakfast we really love it. The taste was good and clean. For the massage session we really enjoyed. The therapist really professional and very private for us. We would come back here again for the next trip in siem reap.

We had an outstanding stay from start to finish, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of.
From the moment we arrived, the airport pickup was seamless. We were greeted by a wonderful driver and welcomed with fresh coconut water prepared and served before we even left for the hotel—such a perfect introduction.

On arrival, the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay, always making us feel comfortable and well looked after.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent toiletries and a lovely bath on the balcony, which was a real highlight and added a unique touch of relaxation.

The hotel package also included a 60-minute spa treatment every day, which was absolutely incredible and one of the standout features of our stay.

Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the laundry service was fast, convenient, and reliable. The hotel itself never felt overcrowded, which made everything feel calm and relaxing.

One of the highlights was the pool area, where we were able to fully relax and enjoy our beers while swimming and unwinding in the sun—an absolute bonus that made the experience even more enjoyable.

The Tuk Tuk service into town and the surrounding areas was excellent. Our driver was always punctual, often waiting while we explored shops or attractions, and then happily taking us on to our next stop. Getting back to the hotel was just as easy, with affordable and reliable transport always available.

The location is also perfect for visiting Angkor Wat. Being slightly closer than many other hotels meant we were picked up last and dropped off first on group tours, which made a noticeable difference in comfort and convenience.

Overall, it was an exceptional experience that we would highly recommend. We will most certainly be coming back.

EVERYTHING WAS BEYOND EXPECTATIONS.

First the staff, I would like to personally thank every single staff that cared for us so exceptionally, as a hospitality agent myself, this was THE BEST I've experienced. From the included transfer from the airport, the preparation of the room for our honeymoon, the free fruits at night, the free drinks during your break at the pool, the breakfast, the simple "Hi how are your stay", the owner personally coming by to check if everything is okay, they left us feeling so special and cared for, it was truly magical.

Then the stay itself. A little heaven with flourishing vegetation, very spacious and beautiful rooms, very intimate. From the softness of the sheets to the smell of the bathroom products provided, it was very hard to leave !!

Now restaurant ! The food was super delicious with a lot of different choices to go for, not just a rich breakfast, but lunch and diner with a cozy romantic atmosphere and delicious meals, you've gotta try !

AND THE SPA. OMG. We paid extra for a package to include a daily 90min massage in their spa. THAT was incredible, I was struggling so hard not to fall asleep, feeling high on life getting out the spa. They were so attentive and adapted perfectly to each of our sensitivity, me liking it very soft and my partner pretty strong. We even HAD TO get one right before leaving, couldn't miss any of them !!

And finally location. You are perfectly located 10min away from the temples, 10min away from the city center with a FREE private tuktuk to the city whenever you wish. Then by a short 10min walk, the botanical garden, little cozy cafes and restaurant, the War Museum and others !

In short, I will definitely be back and recommend this place more and more, go there eyes closed if you wish to spend your holiday in a place you won't want to leave !

The stafff are so happy to assist with any questions/ requests. The gardens around the pool area give a real tropical feel, with all kinds of wildlife appearing from time to time. Great place to relax and listen to the birds singing. Will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Shintana Saya La Maison. The hotel is in a great location, closer to Angkor Wat than many other properties, which made our temple visits very convenient. We also appreciated the complimentary tuk-tuk service to the city center, it was extremely helpful and made getting around easy.

The staff were exceptional throughout our stay: always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any request. They helped us organize a two-day temple tour, and our guide, Sarah, was outstanding. She was knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about the history of the temples, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. We highly recommend requesting her if you’re planning to explore Angkor.

Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

Dieses Hotel ist tatsächlich schwierig zu bewerten. Es gibt Bereiche, die vom Hotel toll gemanagt werden, und wieder Bereiche, die extrem viel Nachbesserung benötigen.

Positiv war:
- riesige Zimmer
- bequeme Betten
- viel Ablagefläche
- toller Spa. Ms. Cheany (?) ist eine fabelhafte Therapeutin. Der Spa ist sauber und sehr gut gepflegt. Er war das Beste an unserem Aufenthalt.
- inkludierter Wäscheservice
- inkludierter Flughafentransfer
- schöne Badewanne
- duftende Pflegeprodukte
- die Flasche Rotwein auf dem Zimmer war sehr lecker.
- Mr. Thai war sehr aufmerksam und hat besten Service geboten
- der Pooldrink ist eine nette Aufmerksamkeit

Fazit: 5 Sterne erfüllt dieses Hotel nicht.
Das Hotel hatte mal einen anderen Namen, daher stammt wohl auch das Werbevideo der Website.
Es wurde zu sehr viel besseren Zeiten gedreht.
Wir würden das Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.
Für das, was wir bezahlt haben, war das Hotel jedoch gut.

Das Einzige, was gar nicht geht, sind die hygienischen Zustände.

Der Aufenthalt hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen, mit großem Abstand das beste Hotel in unserer Asien Tour. Es hat Boutique Charakter, klein aber fein. Sehr ruhig, toller Pool. Das Essen war phantastisch und insgesamt wunderbares Personal. Wir wurden abgeholt in einem sehr komfortablen Van , mit frischer Coconut Begrüßung während der Fahrt zum Hotel. Es sind diese wunderbaren Details. Die Zimmer und das Restaurant ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, genauso wie es auf den Bildern aussieht.
Sie haben unseren kurzen Aufenthalt für Angkor Wat unvergesslich gemacht. Den Tuk-tuk hat das Hotel organisiert. Der Fahrer hatte ausreichend Wasser und kühle Tücher zur Tour mitgenommen.
Wir haben das Familienzimmer genommen mit Verbindungstür.
Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.

Magnifique hôtel, très paisible et élégant. Les chambres sont grandes et joliment décorées.

Le service de blanchisserie inclus est un vrai plus. Le personnel est aux petits soins et toujours souriant Une adresse qu’on recommande sans hésiter !
