Amazing value for money!
Pros:

Our room was absolutely gorgeous - with really good views of the town centre. Our room had a huge walk in shower which was fabulous and we found our stay very comfortable.

Wonderful Royal Hotel Stranraer
Pros:

Lovely room with super comfy beds. Shug and all the staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating.
Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. High end dining at a very reasonable price.

Cons:

Lack of nearby parking. Lots of stairs but staff helped with luggage.

The hotel didn't even advertise the free services of their tour guide, Lee Rutherford. I don't know how much you pay him, Royal, but he's worth every penny. Glad that you enjoyed the beer I gave you, Lee. 🤗

Functional clean good central location. Nice proprietor and bar. Met all requirements.

Lovely room but noisy
Pros:

Lovely clean, bright and comfortable bedroom and bathroom and spent time people watching from the 2 large window seats..
Ate in the dining room and the food was excellent.

Cons:

The bed though comfortable was quite high for me at 5'3"
Our stay was on a busy Saturday and unfortunately you could hear the outside noise till the wee hours.
For those travelling by car please make sure to take care on the one way system.
