Location and the relaxed but good dining and lovely staff
Nothing to dislike
Great location. Easy to find. Character property. Nice bar and restaurant.
The road outside the hotel can be a little noisy.
Great location
Certain things in the room was a bit dusty, the lighting in room very poor, the light at dressing table didn’t work at all
Very friendly people and good location

Enjoyed the older building, lively atmosphere, staff very helpful.
It was a bit too hot.
Location was great (for our purposes). Room was good sized.
Didn't realize how close it would be to the train bridge. Was a bit loud as a result. Staff was nice but everything was a bit slow.
Comfortable room. Good selection of food and a well stocked bar.
Friendly staff in spite of arriving on Mother's day afternoon and all very busy. Room spacious with superb view of forth bridge. Lovely, pretty pub with nice menu and drinks. Great location, short walk to small town.
Nothing, l really enjoyed it.
Visiting family, ideal spot with great views. The female member of staff that we dealt with was very welcoming and friendly. She also served us breakfast both days, a great asset to the hotel.
There was a bit of activity outside late at night with people racing about in cars and on bikes.
The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The bathroom is exceptionally nice! Great view of the bridges from the window too. Food was great and made to order. The female manager is especially nice and friendly.

The staff and surroundings, service excellent, food delicious. Would be good if they say in the booking details and information about requesting a room with a view, would have preferred this. Otherwise perfect place.
Car park view
The reception staff were very kind and helpful when our two rooms were in different parts of the hotel. We both ended up with lovely views of the bridge in bright and spacious first floor rooms - worth paying extra for if you can! Overall a lovely experience
Worth avoiding the cheapest category of room if you can!
location and breakfast!
