Pros:

Excellent breakfast, very pleasant hotel. The location is right under a railway bridge, so there was some noise, but the bridge itself is beautiful. Trains didn't seem to run overnight. Friendly staff.

Cons:

We stayed in a family room. Sleeping on the pull-out sofa for two nights was manageable, but it would have been uncomfortable for any longer than that.

Sleepless in Queensferry
Pros:

Lovely, comfortable room. Great bar area. Lovely tasty breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.

Cons:

The noise from the railway bridge directly next to the inn, which we didn’t know about. Unfortunately didn’t get a decent night’s sleep and then woken at 7.30am by the bagpipes across the street, welcoming holiday makers off their cruise ship. Needless to say we were shattered

Pros:

Nice view of the Forth bridge. But the train does run right over the top of the building, so you will her that until midnight and then starts up again at 6 am.

Cons:

Very low ceilings, which is expected for such a historic building. But I’m 6’1” and smoked my head on the ceiling and door frames a couple of times.

Carini il pub e il ristorante

Cons:

Poco curato. Non è un 4 stelle, 3 al massimo. L'aeratore in bagno non funzionava, la teiera non funzionava. Cosa più grave, al nostro ritorno al pomeriggio abbiamo trovato la porta non chiusa, solo accostata, con all'interno della stanza le nostre cose a disposizione di chiunque fosse passato di lì.
