The town is absolutely the cutest thing. The hotel is wonderful, with comfortable rooms and amenities. The breakfast is super delicious, with many options for both food and drinks, featuring local products that are the yummiest!
We loved the spa area with sauna and steam. There is also an honor system bar where you can serve yourself and hang out with your companions. There is also a game room and even a guitar available for playing, which my talented son took full advantage of.
We were very pleased with our stay at Cavalino D'Oro - Money well spent!

This place is amazing. The building with 700 years' history, but fully renovated with all modern facilities. Warm cosy and quiet. If you travel by car, you get free parking in an underground garage within 1 minute's walk. If you need publice transport, the bus stop is right outside, and the tickets are already included in the accomodation price. It takes 10 minutes by car or by bus to get to the Alpe di Siusi cable car which takes you to the ski lifts of the Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi ski area. The city of Bolzano is in less tha 30 mintues' drive.

Un po' indaginosa l'operazione check -in presso Villa Kastelruth e lo scarico bagagli... Avevo paura di entrare in zona traffico limitato e di essere in multa da via dolomiti nel salire alla piazza Kraus... Poi 2 vigili urbani mi hanno visto fermo in difficoltà e mi hanno dato il nulla osta.... 🤣
the hotel is a gem. It's full of original charm and every detail is thought out. I wud love to stay there again. Lovely room, sauna facilities, homemade cookies on NYE were a nice touch.

Die Lage im Zentrum ist hervorragend und die Garage ist bequem zu erreichen. Sauna und Dampfbad sind
hervorragend. Der grosse Aufenhaltsbereich im Erdgeschoss hat Stil, Platz und ist sehr angenehm fuer kleine snacks, Getraenke oder um einfach zusammen zu sitzen.
Das Fruehstueck ist jeden Tag das Gleiche. Vor einem Jahr konnte man noch Spiegeleier bestellen. Jetzt gibt es nur noch hart gekochte Eier. Unser Zimmer hatte keine Dusche.
La disponibilità della direttrice e del personale nel venire incontro alle esigenze alimentari di persone celiache. La nostra famiglia ha potuto apprezzare anche dolci gluten free "fatti in casa".
We loved our stay. Everything about our experience was warm and cozy. Breakfast was our favorite part of the experience. I would recommend especially to families.

Had a WONDERFUL time at this 700 HUNDRED year old Inn located right in city center Kastelruth. Krampus parade literally on the front door steps! Charming room, friendly staff, and location walkable to local sites.
