Die Unterkunft ist ein sehr besonderes Erlebnis! Toller Garten voller Pfefferpflanzen und sehr komfortable, saubere und schöne Hütten direkt im Dschungel am Fluss. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren alle sehr nett und haben nicht nur den Transport hin und weiter von der Unterkunft organisiert, sondern auch die Safari. Wir haben die 7h Safari gebucht, die um 5:30 morgens gestartet ist und für zwei Personen 45.000 Rupien gekostet hat (Frühstück im Park und Parkeintritt (30$) mit inbegriffen. Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Safari und haben unzählige Elefanten aber auch andere Tiere wie Krokodile, Büffel, Affen und Vögel gesehen. Eine Unterkunft und ein Erlebnis, das wir jedem nur empfehlen würden.
PS: nur Barzahlung daher im Vorhinein genug für Essen, Unterkunft, Transport und Safari mitnehmen!

It was a wonderful stay. The whole team is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and we watched lots of animals from the balcony – it was fantastic! The entire property is beautiful, with lots of plants and surrounded by nature. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. We booked a full-day safari directly through the hotel, and everything was perfectly organized, including a very good breakfast and lunch and a great safari driver. It was even a private tour, just us and the driver. They also helped us easily with the onward journey to the next location and arranged a driver for us. All in all, it was a fantastic stay. Thank you so much! We hope to come back again someday.

We loved everything about Wild Lake Side! The location is incredible, the lodges are amazing - spacious, clean and comfortable. We spent an afternoon just sitting on the terrace watching the wildlife go by. The hosts were lovely and could organise multiple tours in the local area. We booked our safari with them and had a wonderful time. Wish we stayed for longer!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön an einem kleinen Fluss gelegen. Vom Balkon kann man zahlreiche Vögel sehen, hin und wieder schwimmt ein Waran vorbei. Die Gastfamilie ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Abendessen wie auch Frühstück waren sehr lecker!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen und haben uns direkt heimisch gefühlt. Die Lage mitten in der Natur ist toll. Unsere Hütte war schön mit einem tollen Blick ins Grüne. Auch das Essen war top!
Bei unserer über das Hotel gebuchten Safari haben wir ein Lunchpaket mitbekommen, welches wir an einem See genießen durften. Das Mittagessen wurde uns frisch zum Parkeingang gebracht, welches wir ebenfalls in der Natur genießen durften. Tolle Erfahrung!

Had a great stay at Wild Lake Resort. Beautiful lake view, peaceful atmosphere, and very clean rooms. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Peaceful location, a beautiful room and excellent diner. Perfect place to explore Udalawawe national park, which the hotel hosts can also arrange for you.

Our stay at Wild Lake Side exceeded our expectations. The room was lovely and the beds so comfy! We particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the sounds of the wildlife in the evenings. The breakfast was delicious and generously portioned, and our dinners were also very tasty. We booked a safari through the hotel which was competitively priced and we enjoyed very much. Above all, the service and hospitality from our hosts was superb. We'd definitely stayed here again!
