Beautiful countryside bolthole, with excellent drinks and dining & scenic walks.
Pros:

Complimentary upgrade to a beautiful big bedroom (with the biggest bathroom I've ever seen!). Very comfortable and clean.Nestled in a stunning little village by a babbling river, with lots of scenic walks locally.
The pub was bustling, excellent food and drink and super friendly staff.. generous breakfast, with food vegetarian options.

Cons:

The robes were comically small, for anyone over 6ft, which gave us a giggle. Would have loved some bubble bath. But it was all delightful.
Do book in the restaurant if you plan to eat there, as it's popular - they only just squeezed us in!

Pros:

Welcoming staff, really delicious food, comfortable bedrooms with luxury touches such as fluffy towels and robes. Walking from the door in a picturesque village.

Cons:

Our room was a bit hot and we only discovered the Aircon the next morning!

Warm inviting & comfortable in a beautiful small village location
Pros:

Excellent location that exceeded our needs.
There was a choice of breakfast full English was extra.
However the breakfast they provided was also very good but lacked a fresh fruit platter the alternative was orange juice. Coffee was plentiful and good.

Cons:

The extractor fan in our bathroom did not go off and was supposedly on a timer that didn’t work. So it kept us up for part of the night. We reported it in the morning.
Beds very comfortable and excellent toiletries , towels and bathrobes.

Highly recommended and would definitely go back again if around the area
Pros:

We were warmly welcomed and continually asked if there was anything else we needed. The room was lovely, beautifully decorated and accessorised. Very clean and had everything you could want. Little extra treats in the room too. Dinner was delicious, good service and atmosphere. Breakfast was great with a plentiful range and tasty homemade produce. Staff were all very friendly, we couldn’t fault

The restaurant was very nice with a great choice of drinks. The food was amazing!

While the cost of the room was extremely pricey (matching those of a good London hotel), nonetheless
Pros:

We had stayed before so knew what to expect. The room was extremely comfortable and very well-appointed. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was excellent

Cons:

The price was a little more than we would normally pay, but I can't blame the restaurant for charging what the market will bear
