Room beautifully and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean. Bathroom beautiful. All needs met. Fabulous breakfast choice. Restaurant also delightful. Good choice of food. Lovely place.
Nothing.
Stunning location, lovely staff, excellent food. I've been lucky enough to visit and stay in some stunning places but this has the whole package. The room was beautiful and we felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff were sweet and accommodating. Drinks in the sun out the front was Devine and then THE BED. The most comfortable ever. Stunning and will definitely return. Thanks all for the stay x
The facilities of indoor or outdoor eating were excellent and spotlessly provided. Car parking is good and the village it is in is quite magical, well worth a walk around.
Very late night drinkers in the courtyard area until nearly 2pm were a damned nuisance, the noise of conversation was high pitched, they need some sensible cut off time to close the area.
Excellent breakfast with superb service from Sally.
The Tuesday Steak Supper Club was also excellent and great value for money
No complaints. Just the bin lorry emptying the bins woke me
Lovely breakfast
Thumping beat piped music at breakfast and at dinner the previous evening.
Bit of soft jazz would have matched the ambiance better at dinner and silence at breakfast would have been much nicer.
Beautifully appointed accommodation, nice bar and good real ales, in a lovely and little known part of the world.
We could have done without the piped music at breakfast.
Very high standard of accommodation, excellent breakfast, warm and friendly service
Complimentary upgrade to a beautiful big bedroom (with the biggest bathroom I've ever seen!). Very comfortable and clean.Nestled in a stunning little village by a babbling river, with lots of scenic walks locally.
The pub was bustling, excellent food and drink and super friendly staff.. generous breakfast, with food vegetarian options.
The robes were comically small, for anyone over 6ft, which gave us a giggle. Would have loved some bubble bath. But it was all delightful.
Do book in the restaurant if you plan to eat there, as it's popular - they only just squeezed us in!
All good
Welcoming staff, really delicious food, comfortable bedrooms with luxury touches such as fluffy towels and robes. Walking from the door in a picturesque village.
Our room was a bit hot and we only discovered the Aircon the next morning!
A quintessential English pub/hotel, set in a glorious village. The rooms were extremely well appointed, and the restaurant was top quality.
Excellent location that exceeded our needs.
There was a choice of breakfast full English was extra.
However the breakfast they provided was also very good but lacked a fresh fruit platter the alternative was orange juice. Coffee was plentiful and good.
The extractor fan in our bathroom did not go off and was supposedly on a timer that didn’t work. So it kept us up for part of the night. We reported it in the morning.
Beds very comfortable and excellent toiletries , towels and bathrobes.
Excellent food, clean and well presented room.
We were warmly welcomed and continually asked if there was anything else we needed. The room was lovely, beautifully decorated and accessorised. Very clean and had everything you could want. Little extra treats in the room too. Dinner was delicious, good service and atmosphere. Breakfast was great with a plentiful range and tasty homemade produce. Staff were all very friendly, we couldn’t fault
Food menu in the restaurant, breakfast excellent.
