Relaxing and comfortable we would go back
Pros:

Beautiful building with so many features throughout. The basement had very interesting games rooms and was nice to walk through. The space and light in the building was amazing. The bedroom was very comfortable we stayed in a suite. Spacious, lovely bath and mattress was very comfy with a seating area. We moved a child’s bed into this space which worked well. Breakfast was ok however not as special as we expected. The service in the breakfast area was much better than in George’s bar where we ate and drank on two occasions. Attention to staff training needs to be put into this area. However the food was excellent.

Cons:

Service in George’s bar. It wasn’t that they weren’t polite but need more support training. Better awareness, no cutlery twice, forgot menus requested, didn’t take order at the table, left to carry our own drinks outside with no tray x3. Out of stock on drinks and kept needing to check and come back.

Pros:

Well worth a visit !
Pros:

The room was a good size, with air conditioning. Tea coffee making facilities with a good selection 👌. Fridge to keep your water, milk etc cool. Iron and ironing board in wardrobe as well as a hairdryer. There was a safe inside the wardrobe if needed.
The bathroom was huge with a double wash hand basin, it had a walkin shower and a roll top bath also a while. Clean towels every day. Parking on-site.

Cons:

At breakfast time in The Refectory they have a water and juice station, but no glasses at hand. All glasses on the table, would make more sense to be with the drinks.
