A beautiful, characterful hotel in a lovely setting, with friendly staff and a great breakfast, but
Pros:

A beautiful hotel full of character, set in a lovely location and within easy driving distance of Great Malvern. There was a great choice of breakfast options, and most of the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, our experience was let down slightly by one particularly rude housekeeper. (We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights 19-23 August not 1 night as shown)

Cons:

We wasted quite a lot of time dealing with a faulty safety deposit box and a room phone that wasn’t working. There was also no Wi-Fi connection in the room for one of the days of our stay, which was inconvenient

Very interesting building but expensive.
Pros:

Fabric of hotel was extremely interesting with a lot of unusual history. Room spacious, well equipped and bed comfortable.

Cons:

Service in bar very slow on first evening. Breakfast on second day even worse.

Everything good or better.
Pros:

Fantastic building. Helpful and friendly staff. Dinner was excellent and breakfast good. A memorable stopover at the end of our holiday. We'll be back.

The classical and authentic feel of the abbey. History and how well it’s been maintained

Cons:

The tv needs updating as not smart tv. There were cobwebs and dust around the room

A comfortable hotel with very lovely staff.
Pros:

How pleasant & friendly all of the staff were.

Cons:

Having to wait for our pre-ordered food the night before the wedding.
Also didn’t like that the rooms were all very different grades yet some of us had paid the same amount.

Pros:

We had a fantastic stay for our 45th anniversary. Breakfast was amazing, every possible choice available. Staff so friendly and we will certainly return to visit again.
