Gavrock House, a lovely hotel in Dunfermline
Pros:

Have stayed here before, the hotel is very nice, the rooms are very comfortable and very clean. Lovey robes and lots of soft towels are provided. Breakfast is very good and they offer a good selection of hot and cold options. The hotel staff are all very friendly and welcoming . The hotel is set in lovely ground, with lots of on-site parking available.

Cons:

Nothing, it is a very nice hotel and I'm sure we will stay here again.

Pros:

Very welcoming and friendly staff. I stayed with my small dog and the staff fussed over him. In the room was a doggy welcome 'hamper' (bed, bowl, ball, treat). Room was very quiet, roomy and comfortable. Lovely garden to sit and enjoy. Had a lovely lunch in the bar/lounge area where the dog was also welcome. Lovely stay and staff were very accomodating.

Fabulous
Pros:

It was beautifully furnished and decorated. Staff were amazing. So attentive. The food was just fantastic. My husband is a vegetarian who moans about poor choice and quality of for veggies but throughly enjoyed his meal as did I and my highlight was the Scottish breakfast superb. My husband’s veggie version equalled mine.

Cons:

Good hotel in pleasant grounds.
Pros:

Hotel was lovely and warm. Room was large light and airy with easy to open windows. Bathroom had bath and shower and was quite large, Gardens were really nice to walk around and plenty of places to sit and have a drink. The majority of staff were friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

There was no soundproofing and we could hear the conversations of the people in the adjacent rooms. For the first couple of mornings breakfast options were limited with little fresh fruit or honey. Initial receptionist was efficient but not welcoming and provided no additional information about the property eg where the breakfast toom was.

Pros:

The bedroom was beautiful, and the bed and room were a good size. The gardens were lovely, and the staff were friendly. The hotel restaurant was lovely too. The hotel felt tucked away, but accessible by public transport. which meant it wasn't too busy or noisy. I stayed one night, and the price was very reasonable. I would return!

Minor issues, but would definitely recommend
Pros:

Liked the secluded feel, and the attitude of the staff, as well as the welcome for pets.

Cons:

Food was sent on first night (ceasar salad) was requested as my partner is a vegetarian, and it came with bacon, not listed on the menu. When challenged the waiter had no idea what to do about it. Luckily my partner isn't militant about it so just scrapped off the bacon bits, but could have been worse with some one who is more strict or had an allergy.
