Will definitely book again
Pros:

Lovely setting

Cons:

Only negative was that television in our room was broken when we arrived so my husband was unable to watch the Six Nations rugby. He reported this but I guess the hotel didn’t have a spare one. Not a big problem for us however

Traditional Hotel with good service and pleasant staff.
Pros:

Pleasant staff and catered for my dietary requirements and allergies. Nice location. Have stayed here before and would do so again. Decaf coffee bags were a bonus too.

Staff and rooms were excellent, cleanliness was impeccable, but needs to do homework on Vegans
Pros:

Rooms were spacious , comfortable, My workmate thought the food was excellent, Cleanliness was excellent, staff very freindly and attentive, but lack of detail for vegan guests let it down. we are working Up in Scotland again in a couple of months, but I doubt if I would revisit, we have stated in many hotels for work related visits but have all catered for vegans better, I know this sounds moany, but it would be better not to say they cater for vegans/vegetarians but try and accomodate, because stating caters for vegans was the deciding factor for chosing where we stayed

Cons:

unfortunately I didnt have the same experience, they had over 1 weeks notice that I was vegan, Tesco is 1 mile away, on arrival they had no vegan spread or soy milk, evening meal there was very limited choice, 1 starter was vegan but was more of a desert, a strawberry thinly sliced with a couple of spoonfulls of chopped melon, looked fancy, but wierd for a starter, main meal was curry which was nive, but no naan bread or chips as no vegan alternatives or seperate vegan fryer, Breakfast was good for workmate, but 3 slices of toast between 2, vegan margerine available for breakfast, sausages undercooked, too much weird steamed greens which were very watery, a black blob of "vegan" black pudding, 2 spoons of beans in a ramekin which were cold, no soy milk for cerials, small jug of oat milk was on rable for coffee which was was good though
