A high quality relaxing stay in all aspects of a professionally run hotel with a caring team
Pros:

The room was immaculate with excellent WFI. The noise levels at night are unbelievably quite; making for an excellent sleep and relaxing stay. We used the Dunfermline City station to travel to see the Kelppies which was a wonderful 1 hour train ride taking us over the stunning Forth Rail Bridge. The station is a 15 mins walk with fantastic links to Edinburgh. The Breakfast and Dinner are the best we have ever had and so very reasonably priced. Car parking is enormous situated in the most astonishing and well kept grounds (hats off to the gardening team)

A classic Victorian Villa hotel with excellent service and surround be beautiful grounds.
Pros:

The bedroom was spacious, beautifully furnished and well appointed. Dining was in classically furnished rooms with excellent service. The hotel is surrounded with colourful gardens and plentiful parking.

Apart from the above two things the overall experience was lovely and will definetly return.
Pros:

Garvock house is situated in a beautiful area in Dunfermline within its beautifully kept garden grounds.
Spotlessly clean throughout. On the whole the staff are wonderful and seem to care that you are happy with the time you spend in the property. The breakfasts are wonderful with plenty of variety.

Cons:

I have mobility walking aid and checking in was a problem. The receptionist had difficulty finding my reservation so I was kept standing for some time until I found the conformation on my phone. Perhaps a chair by the reception could be added.
After our main course at dinner one waiter asked if we would choose our dessert, we asked for a little bit of time but we’re told that the chef needed to know then.
At check in we were asked for some form of ID as well and that was disconcerting ( the receptionist did say that some people had absconded without paying their bill) . We had paid ours.

The hotel garden is so beautiful at day, so scary at night. TThe staff are so friendly especially

Cons:

The darkness of the hotel garden in the night, it is so scary
No refrigerator
No cooling system but only very small fan
Breakfast is the same everyday unless you request the food you want.

One of the nicest places we stayed on our trip to Scotland.
Pros:

We found this place to be much nicer than the pictures. The staff was very friendly and after we checked in we did not feel like going out to find dinner so we ate in the dining room. It was wonderful! Highly recommended if staying in Dunfermline.

Cons:

We did not find anything about this place that we did not like. Nothing to add here.
