ASHOK HOTEL is a grand site which can become an excellent 5 star hotel if refurbished and is maintained properly. Needs
Pros:

size and grandeur of the property and the facility

Cons:

needs refurbishment of plumbing, interiors. need improvements of the maintenance. staff should be more lively. porters and service staff always expressing to get tips after providing a single service, be it bringing a key from reception. this is bothersome.

Pros:

Everything fine , The Response of ground staff and Reception was not satisfied

Cons:

Once we booked for three persons paid for 3 person stay only two bed were given and after repeated request also till night
10.30 pm not given one person slept in the floor called the inter com numbers 44,45 from 10.00 to 10.30 Four time they said they give but not given it is also informed in the reception no response at least they should refund the cost of third person bed charges not yet

Pros:

Extraordinary, impressive Building, wonderful environment, great interior

Cons:

Poor Wi-Fi in the room and always cut off. The toilet flush is consuming way too much water.
The quality of the TV signal was extremely bad. We asked the house technician to get it fixed, but he could not.

Disappointing
Pros:

Location, pool, waiter from the coffee shop (forgot to ask his name), secure location.

Cons:

- mould in the shower
- keys not working
- food options were limited
- nightclub operational hours were incorrect and we couldn’t go in! Tried 3 times
- staff at the front desk are rude and unhelpful, they don’t appear to know the process for most things like laundry, housekeeping
- our clothes were misplaced after we sent it for washing
- musty smell of the entire place

Hôtel bien situé, calme, propre, personnel attentionné - Certaines Chambres ne valent pas 4*
Pros:

Bon emplacement dans l'enclave diplomatique par rapport à l'aéroport et le centre ville facilement accessible en tuk tuk. Environnement agréable, très vert et sécure.
Hôtel calme propre et globalement bien entretenu.
Personnel d'accueil, de restauration (petit déjeuner) et d'étage discret, courtois et très attentionné.
Et l'accès à la piscine du Club privé est vraiment top

Cons:

Les Chambres du 6ème étage sont vétustes et mériteraient une bonne rénovation (fenêtres qui ferment mal, prises de courant qui ne fonctionnent pas, appliques arrachées, dysfonctionnement des tringles et rideaux, coffres fort non fixés, clim non réglable, joints de baignoire manquants ou moisis ...)
Les différents restaurants du complexes sont plutôt chers et ne font pas envie (non testés)
Et pour des français qui prennent un petit déjeuner sucré il y a peu de choix et les quelques viennoiseries ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur.

Pros:

There is improvement need, sharpness and need of attention , in the room cutlery and towel is not in well placed and very older one ( fate purane.) .The carpet in the front of every rooms lobby is very old and damaged and durty, For this property and legendary brand "The Ashok " Not suitable.
