Good for a night
Pros:

Nice people, good price. The hot shower wasn’t working and we found a lots of hair on the floor but okay for the price and one night stay.

Fantastic.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a family. Great location and friendly helpful staff.

Nice room, good location.

Cons:

The price i was asked to pay was different to what was on booking (even after adding the city tax it was still more)... and when i asked why the differance, the staff member made a comment "oh but you are doing the gibbon experience" (why does what I'm doing in town have anything to do with my question?) and became very defensive and unfriendly....

Pros:

Adequate hotel and location.

Cons:

SCAM. Booked slow-boat through hotel receptionfor 2 people. Charged 450,000 for each person even though 1 of us is Lao citizen and showed Lao National ID card. Should have been charged less as boat operates dual-pricing foreigner/citizen. Receptionist knew this and pocketed the extra money.

The bed smelt of sweat and body odour to the point that I didn't sleep. Shower smelt of fish. Truly disgusting

Central position

Cons:

Sheets were not clean, looked like they were not changed from previous guest.
The blanket didn’t have sheets covering.
Could not lock the windows and door from inside. Therefore I didn’t feel safe at all.
Spent a horrible night.
For the same price I was in fabulous places

Pros:

The staff was lovely, he dealt with getting a ticket to the slow boat for us, and our seats were good (close to the front of the boat). The room is basic, but who needs more when you just stay for one night. You can pay with US dollars and Kip.
