Lekker rustig en fijne plek
Pros:

Mooie en schone tweepersoonskamer met wc en douche. Netjes. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar prima. Je kunt er goed met bus 121 komen. Er is een terras bij waar je lekker in de avondzon kunt zitten

Good option, close to the trail paths
Pros:

Staff very friendly and supportive.
Room with good space, large windows, good ventilation (no AC).
Quietly place as the Hotel is located in the end of the street from Grindelwald.
Free parking available and a few spots for EV (paid).
From the Hotel, you have access to trail paths and waterfalls.

Cons:

The hotel is about 10 min drive from the Grindelwald center, what can be a problem if you are not driving (there is bus stop in front of the hotel - free of charge).
The breakfast is good, but with limited options
And the bed clothes and shower towels could be in better quality.

Pros:

Die Lage. Ganz oben in Grindelwald. Weiter führt die Straße nicht für den öffentlichen Verkehr. Direkt da, wo der obere Grindelwald Gletscher früher mal war, bevor der Klimawandel siegte.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen am oberen Dorfende mit Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Türe (Endstation). Das Doppelzimmer ist ansprechend gross, mit einer etwas älteren Einrichtung, aber dennoch noch gut im Schuss. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist sauber. Der Skischuhraum verfügt über moderne Skischuhtrockner. Das Frühstücksbuffet konnten wir nicht nutzen, da wir am Morgen auf den ersten Bus mussten. Aber wir hätten Kaffee und Gipfel to go erhalten, worauf wir aber verzichtet haben.

Perfect spot from which to walk or ski tour, directly onto the paths which start outside the hotel.. Stunning view of the remaining glacier from the front. Regular free bus to various telecabins. Lovely team of staff.
