Quiet and peaceful
Pros:

Location was awesome! Out of the city and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was more than helpful!! I would stay here again!

Great value for the money, nice staff and great breakfast!
Pros:

It was a very spacious hotel room and a nice bathroom and shower. It was clean and even came with some free fruit and water bottles. The breakfast in the morning was very nice with a lots of different options to pick from.

Cons:

It's not a very modern hotel, we had to check in before 9 so we had to leave early from the previous hotel and there was no option for a self-checkin. This was just a littlebit inconvenient for us, not a bad thing per-see.

Pros:

La camera era veramente bellissima: su due piani spaziosissima e pulitissima. Con tanto di biscottino sul cuscino. Lo staff gentilissimo. Abbiamo dormito solo una notte e non abbiamo usufruito della colazione. È vicinissimo a grindelwalt. In macchina diamo arrivate in 5 minuti, comodissimo quo di anche grindelwalt terminal dive abbiamo lasciato la macchina per salire sullo jungfraujoch.

Cons:

Non ho trovato nulla di negativo. Non ho dato 10 solo perche non ho potuto provare ristorante e colazione. Ma è davvero ottimo

Ein rustikales, ehrliches Haus mit einem grossartigen Restaurant und fantastischer Landschaft
Pros:

Lage super-idyllisch mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge. Wenn man aus dem Fenster schaut, lädt es schon direkt zum Wandern ein.

Restaurant hat super Essen, echte Schweizer Klassiker und man wird satt. Hatte das Zürcher Geschnetzelte, einen Menüsalat und das Eis. Hat mir alles super geschmeckt.

Badezimmer weit besser als erwartet. Raum selbst super-gemütlich und es gab sogar einen Apfel, ein Wasser und ein Gebäck als Willkommensgeschenk. Das weiss ich sehr zu schätzen.

Ausserdem durfte ich mein Gepäck bereits vor dem Check-In kostenlos einchecken. Auch dafür bin ich dankbar, so konnte ich den Tag auf dem Jungfraujoch unbeschwert geniessen.

Der Kaffee beim Frühstück war sehr gut!

Insgesamt ein rustikales, ehrliches Haus.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück kam bei mir etwas Verwirrung auf. Die junge, freundliche Frau hat alles super gemanaged. Jedoch wurde das Buffet eröffnet und ich sah noch gar kein Brot oder Weggli. Daraufhin habe ich mir bereits die Beilagen genommen und wusste aber nicht, was als nächstes kommt und sass dann erstmal "wie bestellt und nicht abgeholt" am Platz. Nur weil ein anderer Gast nachfragte, bekam ich dann mit, dass man sich nun Brot usw. nehmen dürfe.

Und ich hatte so ein Spezialexemplar "anderer Gast" abends im Restaurant, der war von Beginn an nur am meckern und ist mit der Servierkraft einfach unmöglich umgegangen. Trägt irgendeinen clownsalbernen Velohelm und meckert dann aber die Servierkraft an, dass er ihn nicht erkennen würde. Nachher wollte der sogar seine Bestellung gratis haben. Lieber Wirt, ganz ehrlich - auf solche Leute könnt Ihr mit Eurem tollen Essen und Eis und Getränken doch verzichten - die würd ich an Ihrer Stelle einfach komplett an die Luft setzen. Ich war von diesem Benehmen des Gastes als "Mitgast" einfach nur entsetzt.

Charged me more when I arrived at the hotel.
Cons:

Before I arrived I received an email saying that I need to pay an extra 80 CHF per night. Even though they had agreed to the Bookings.com price before I paid. I booked for double occupancy as shown on my booking. Then they said it was only for single occupancy. And worse of all the manager didn’t want to hear my side and was very abrasive. And also mentioned this happens all the time.

A hidden place in Grindelwald
Pros:

the place is excellent 👏😊. good value for money. staff friendly. good facilities. have electric car charging area. bus stop 121/128 from grindelwald terminal in front of hotel. ample parking spaces for hotel guests. good choices of breakfast served. restaurant is affordable. what stands out? the view of wetterhorn and eiger mountain. very highly recommended hotel. will be back soon.
