Okay for a short stay
Pros:

A good size basic room. The foyer and restaurant are very well presented. Comfortable bed and good shower.

Cons:

The room is basic but functional. A kettle would be a tremendous addition to the room.

Cons:

We are in January and the air pollution has started like every year in northern Thailand and it is still far from its maximum. The pollution level inside the bedroom was excessive (30 to 40 micrograms per m3), almost identical to the value outside because the bathroom windows do not close, the door to the bedroom does not close efficiently, and there is a 2-3 cm gap below the entry door. An air purifier would not improve the quality of the air because of the constant flow of air from outside. The first step is to stop the polluted air. This would considerably improve the situation and an small air purifier would complete the work.
Starting at 5:30-6:00 am, the noise is such that sleeping becomes a challenge. The building was not designed to limit the transmission of the sound.

Better than the average hotel in Thailand
Pros:

Good quality price ratio: for a medium level hotel in Thailand was half priced.

Cons:

The position is a little outside the downtown but not so far from there, Chiang Rai is a very quiet and small town anyway.
