Amazing! We’d love to come back.
Pros:

Peaceful, beautiful location. Delicious breakfasts served on the floating boat. Sunrise kayak. Easy walk to the village and beach nearby.

Sehr ruhiges Plätzchen abseits der Straße
Pros:

Direkt am Ratgama Lake befindet sich diese sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft. Die Besitzer sind äusserst bemüht ihre Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Das Frühstück gibt es auf einem Floss am Wasser. manchmal schwimmt ein Waran vorbei, oder sind Affen zu sehen in den Bäumen. AC arbeitet leise und effizient. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und ich habe mich dementsprechend wohl gefühlt. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.....

Cons:

Abends kommen die Mosquitos für 1 Stunde - aber das ist nun mal so am Wasser

Restful and peaceful stay
Pros:

Very peaceful hotel on the river bank. Enjoyed having breakfast on the floating pontoon restaurant and watching the activity on the water.

Super location and loved the early morning kayak safari!
Pros:

Stunningly beautiful and picturesque setting. Very neat and tastefully executed accommodation and good value. Will definitely go back to unwind and rest away from the busy streets of Hikkaduwa and yet easy access to all shops and restaurants there in 15 mins by tuk tuk

Pros:

Beautiful location, large, clean room with great facilities and nice balcony. Short and easy tuktuk ride away from the main over touristic areas of hikkaduwa. A beautiful secret beach nearby. Good breakfast

Cons:

The staff failed to inform us that the property would be locked at night. We could not get back inside the gates when we came back for dinner at 11pm, so we had to attempt to wake people up. Eventually, We were let through the gates, and realised the staff also lock the front door overnight so no one can exit. We informed them we should not be locked inside the building as it is a health and safety risk if there is a fire or an emergency where we would have to leave, as there are no other exits. however the door remained locked for ‘safety’, leaving us feeling quite uncomfortable
