Do not recommend, scary place
Cons:

It’s like an abandoned building. When checking in we got a weird vibe from the workers. We felt uneasy from then. We booked a 3 person room, it was filthy and creepy, the third bed was like something from a prison cell. We went out for dinner and came back to the hotel that evening and there was a male worker topless sitting at the bottom of the stairs staring at us and mumbling. We were so afraid we packed all of our things at 9pm at night and walked around to find somewhere else to stay. 100% would not recommend especially for young girls

Cheap and great location!
Pros:

Staff were lovely, excellent location and big room. Great breakfast

The property is in need of an update. The front door has cracks in it so bugs can get through.

Clean and functional, large room, friendly staff, location

Cons:

They don’t have a generator for a backup in case of power cut. It was very hot, humid and no torch available at the room considering how often power goes off in that area.

Nice short break to experience Hiriketiya
Pros:

Great size rooms, spacious and a really good shower.
Beds were really comfortable and it’s in a great location if you’re wanting to be right next to the beach.
Really close walking distance to Dikwella beach which was much bigger, nicer and a lot less crowded.
Great views of the sunset too.

Cons:

Would have loved a fridge for cold water/drinks.

Decent stay but not worth the price.
Pros:

The good part about the stay was that the room was quite spacious. The air conditioning worked well, there was hot water available, and the balcony area was a nice addition. The beds were also comfortable, which made the stay more pleasant.

Cons:

On the downside, the room did not have the sea view shown in the photos, which was disappointing. Cleanliness was below standard as there was visible dust on the furniture, and the furnishings were old and far from luxury. Basic amenities such as glasses, cups, plates, or spoons were not provided. Overall, while the place was decent for a short stay, it did not feel worth the money charged.
