Friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool area. Quirky design with great views of the ocean. Nice quiet location away from town centre, approximately 10 minute walk to restaurants and bars.
Building work to the side of the hotel - not too disruptive… hotel seemed past its best as it was in need of redecoration. Didn’t like the fact that the bin in the toilet for the paper was a flip lid that you had to touch to open - should be a pedal bin. Parasols around the pool were really in need of replacing.
Small boutique hotel, with friendly staff. Unique design, fabulous swimming pool and quiet location with easy access into town.
Unusual outside bathroom design was different however not unpleasant.
Belika exceeded our expectations. It is in the perfect location for anyone who wants to be an easy 5 min walk away from hiriketiya, in a really peaceful location overlooking the sea. It is only three bedrooms so never feels too busy, and although peple come during the day to use belika’s pool, there are always sunbeds reserved for hotel guests. The owner was so lovely, and all the staff are great and very helpful. We really loved our stay, and were so grateful for the extra touches Belika made to our room as we were on our honeymoon. If we are lucky enough to come back to Sri Lanka, we will 100% be returning to Belika Beach.

Nous avons adoré Belika Beach ! Le personnel est adorable et a eu des attentions spéciales pour notre voyage de noces que nous avons beaucoup appréciées. La piscine est un vrai plus quand on veut se poser tranquillement après une session surf, sur la plage à 5 min à pieds !
Nous avons également pris tous nos repas du midi à l’hôtel car nous avons trouvé cela délicieux
Rien à redire si ce n’est qu’il y a des travaux à côté, mais pas gênants du tout (pas bruyants, seulement visibles derrière l’hôtel)

Room was ‘quirky’ but looking tired.
The views were incredible and the bed is raised to really appreciate this. The staff are lovely and so are the breakfasts. The location is excellent- just over 5 mins into Hiriketya. The pool area and sun heds are also lovely.
The BATHROOM!! Be aware that there are only 3 rooms and the end 2 rooms have an outside bathroom exposed to the elements. The picture of the bathroom must be the middle room and is very misleading. The shower is very close to the toilet which gets soaked after you've had a shower so does the floor. If its rainy you're going to get very wet going to the toilet. You can't flush any paper down the toilet which we didn't experience in any other much cheaper hotels in Sri Lanka
Au calme mais proche du centre quand même en tuck tuck ou à pied
Nydelig og romslig villa som føltes som et hjem. Personalet var fantastisk snille, hjelpsomme og var alltid tilgjengelig når man trengte noe.
Egentlig var alt flott, men hagen som tilhørte villaen brukte vi lite fordi det ikke gikk an å sole seg der på grunn av for mange insekter. Derfor holdt vi oss i nærheten av bassenget, som var behagelig å være i.
Perfect location less than 10 mins walk to Hiriketiya beach. Views incredible and rooms were v clean with a large comfy bed and great shower! Staff were great, friendly and helped arrange a safari trip and onward tranpsort when we checked out.
Rooms had everything you would need - kettle, tea/coffee etc provided, hair dryer, safe and mini fridge with filtered water which was topped up when needed. There was also filtered water provided for kettle.
Wish we had stayed longer!
Curtains weren’t v thick so rooms were sunlit from sunrise, which was v early morning.
Air conditioning is very low in the day time is the only bad thing about this place other than that it's a top notch place.
This was a fantastic spot to stay in Hiriketiya! The entire staff here are incredible - so helpful, lovely, and kind. The location is out of the frenetic energy of the main hub but a short walk away. The rooms and facilities are exactly as pictured and the food is great (you have to try the crepe!). We loved staying at the Belika and would highly recommend to anyone!
Really cool and well designed hotel with a large bedroom and beautiful view of the sea!!!! very relaxing time and loved the pool area and the crepes available at the restaurant! Will definitely come back
Clean quiet
Location was a dark alleyway about 400m long and at night my partner didn’t feel comfortable walking along

Over-priced IMO. Decor has a lot to improve. Completely dark at night time (pool is supposed to be open until 20:00 - good luck finding it...). Pink rug in our room should be trashed. Air Conditioning either needs cleaning or fixing. The hotel is big on sustainability which we truly appreciate but this is maybe taking it a bit too far...
