good to be on site for the conference.
Pros:

comfortable room with very welcome AC and nice breakfast. Odd to be in an accessible room with very low sink - if I was disabled though I wouldn't have been able to get into the bath!! Pool was nice and also welcome

Cons:

No hairdryer... the bathroom was half accessible and half not! Fine for me, as I don't need to but it would have been difficult if I was disabled - the sink was low and there were bars around the loo etc but there was a normal bath. Wine supplied for the conference (I assume your house wine?) was pretty undrinkable

Nice place
Pros:

Lovely hotel, big and spacious. We both had a lunch snack which was ok. Room was nice and spacious too, only downside was we both woke up with back ache, it must just have been the wrong kind of mattress for us, which can't be helped as it's a preference thing.

Cons:

Having arrived at the hotel and kindly asked if it was possible to check in early, the lovely girl at reception said we had been assigned a room already for our booking, and the previous people had checked out, so she'll get house keeping to do the room, and if we come back about 12, should be good to go in, came back 12.30, not ready can you come back at 1.30 to 1.45, which we did, then they said it's gonna be 2.30ish, it just meant alot of hanging around which we didn't want

Professionalism and Outstanding Hospitality
Pros:

My family and I cannot thank the team at Chesford Grange enough for the kindness and support they have shown us during what has been a very stressful time.

We are staying at the hotel while our son is being treated at Warwick Hospital and having surgery. When his operation was unexpectedly postponed, we suddenly found ourselves needing to stay for an additional night. Despite the hotel hosting a major event and clearly being extremely busy, Gavin Cairns and the team went out of their way to find us a room in our budget and help us through a difficult situation.

What has always made Chesford Grange special is not just the beautiful hotel itself, but the people. Gavin and every member of staff we encountered from reception to restaurant to housekeeping treated us with genuine care, compassion and understanding. They didn’t see us as just another booking; they treated us as human beings going through a challenging family situation.

Whenever there has been an issue or a problem, the staff have always done their best to resolve it quickly and professionally. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and that level of customer service is becoming increasingly rare.

We may still need to stay another night as our son is not yet ready to travel, and knowing we have a supportive and welcoming place to return to has been a huge comfort.

Thank you, Gavin, and thank you to the entire Chesford Grange team for your kindness, professionalism and humanity. We will not forget it and would highly recommend Chesford Grange to anyone looking for a hotel where the staff truly care about their guests.
