Pros:

It’s only half an hours drive from the NEC.
It’s dog friendly.
Dogs are allowed in the bar area.
Plenty of outside area to exercise dogs with dedicated dog poo bins.
Reasonable amount of parking with an overflow area when busy.
Some absolutely exceptional staff who go the extra mile.
Gluten free options on the menu.

Cons:

Being advised I had a downstairs room with patio doors, to find out it was just a downstairs room. Why lie? Another friend had booked a downstairs room with patio doors, emailed and spoke with someone in person to be assured of this, but didn’t get this request. We understand these rooms are limited, but why lie 🤷🏻‍♀️

Price of food and drink is not

Worth it just for the breakfast!
Pros:

Fantastic hotel with the most delicious buffet breakfast with a choice of full English breakfast goodies, lots of pastries, yoghurts and fruits. I would go back just for the breakfast! Exactly what we needed to keep us going for the day! The hotel is located close to the NAEC at Stoneleigh Park but we loved our stay so much we are thinking of ways to visit again, this time to see the sights like Stoneleigh and Warwick Castle.

Thank you for helping our conference to be a success!
Pros:

We have just completed a two day conference at the hotel and all hotel/event staff could not have been more helpful. Everyone we encountered were polite, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Specifically Kumar, who looked after us throughout the whole event, he was always smiling and happy to help - it was a pleasure to work with him. The food was also superb. Thank you to the team onsite for your contribution to making the conference a success and running smoothly!

Lovely Hotel Overall but restaurant service really let it down
Pros:

The location is great for exploring the surrounding area. We stayed in a superior king room which was spacious and included a complimentary mini bar. Bathroom was a great size. Reception were welcoming and bar staff were good., housekeeping were great too. Breakfast was well run and regularly refreshed - the supervision from the lady who greeted guests really showed.
Dinner unfortunately was another matter entirely. The restaurant was busy but not completely full. We sat down at 730 and were finally asked about drinks 40 minutes later. An apology was only given when we mentioned how long we had waited and our waiter clearly knew we were there as he’d walked past so many times. There was no one supervising overall and all the staff were looking at their devices (for taking orders and payments) so it was impossible to make eye contact. The starters were ok but the mains had been sat under a lamp for too long waiting to come out, so were dry and disappointing. My husband was walking to the bar to get a second drink after waiting over another hour from the first order (which was wrong when it came) - he managed to ask our waiter on the way and the second round arrived. A round of drinks was deducted from the bill which was gratefully accepted but a lot of improvement needs to be made as the experience tarnished our stay enough for us not to return.
Needless to say we ate elsewhere on the second night.
