Very good location and Lyme Regis is a wonderful place to visit.
Parking was covered and therefore cool which was great.
Beds were quite comfortable.
There was a small fridge.
The main bedroom had no window which, under UK building regs, means it is not a bedroom. Aside from the safety issues around this, having no natural light or ventilation was hideous. Especially as we stayed in July 2026 which was very hot. There was one feeble desktop fan to cover both bedrooms!
The second bedroom was in the attic space, with a lot of windows which had been left closed and with the curtains wide open when we arrived, creating a greenhouse effect which was also hideous. The curtains were very poor and did nothing to block either heat or light anyway.
The shower room was minuscule, with a tiny, cloakroom sized sink and a door which wouldn't stay open, adding to the claustrophobic effect.
We had to pay £15 per night for the parking and only found this out after booking, despite choosing something because it had parking. There could be more obvious signs asking people not to park in front of the garage because it was blocked on two of the three times we wished to get the car in or out.
Oh - and the television didn't work at all. Which was great timing when England was having a rare moment of success in two sporting arenas!
It was close to everything great location and great for parking definitely come again
Nothing we only stay for the weekend but luv it
The location was great, not too far from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Quick response to messages and clear instructions to check in. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Would stay again.
The property has everything you need for a good nights sleep!
Its so close to the beach and has added benefits of a carpark onsite*charges apply* but worth the cost as i felt safe leaving my car on site.
nothing it was lovely
Location was great, easy to park in the garage . Bed was comfortable, room was airy and light.
Standard lamp needs to be sorted, sink plug had tendency to jam.
The location was excellent, close to everything I love in Lyme. Having parking is an absolute bonus.
I cant think of a single thing I disliked, everything wonderful.
Location. Parking. Cleanliness.
By reception wasn’t good. Obviously not important in good weather but on a rainy day……
The location was good although the Property Manager didn’t advise on the phone, that the road was closed due to road works so we spent half an hour extra trying to find another route in 🙁 We had onsite parking which was great but you do have to pay extra for this.
The room is not for the claustrophobic. You couldn’t swing a cat in there and there are no windows to look out of, only two velux windows above and no chairs in the room to sit on. I think we had 3 hangers between us to hang our clothes up.
On first inspection the room looked clean but when we went to get into bed there were yellow stains on the bottom sheet and the actual quilt had what looked like dry blood stains on it. We really didn’t want to sleep on that 🤢
The TV and the towel rail didn’t work either so we couldn’t dry our towels or swim wear. They were still wet in the morning despite the hot weather.
I feel sorry for the actual owner, as the property management is pretty poor and I wonder if they are aware of this? It’s a father/daughter set up so woe betide you if you flag up anything that needs sorting. 🤨 They both took offence, especially the father Ben, he was verbally abusive and went on to deny that the bed linen was actually soiled. Why would we lie? My father has just passed away so I was looking for a stress free couple of days.
Ben made it very clear that he wanted us to leave saying we were vile and that he was happy to argue with us all evening, he seemed to get off on it. He also said ‘what did we expect for £158 per night!’ (Parking was additional) If we could have found something else we would have, but it was half term week and all the nice places were booked up.
If things go wrong and issues arise, I think it speaks volumes as to how you deal with them. Not a good stay.
Loved the location, it was good value for this reason as a family. The property was clean, quiet and minimal.
There was no table to eat (perhaps having a folding camping table would be a good idea as there is a single folding chair in the property). People were eating in the communal corridor where they had a sofa and a glass coffee table as there is no place to eat. The room was extremely hot (we were in a heat wave) but we have seen other reviews saying it was very hot. There was a single fan provided however we didn’t notice this until the second night so had an uncomfortable sleep the first night. The property has a mezzanine where the single bed is upstairs and a floor cushion as the fourth bed which was ok for our 4 and two year old but was worried about the kids falling down the stairs. The main bed in the downstairs unfortunately the mattress needs replacing it is dipped on one side and sloping on the other so it feels like you are going to roll out of bed. Lastly upon booking (it is described in the listing but we missed it) that it is extra to pay for the parking space in the property. Ideally this would be included in the price, but this is just our opinion. If you are looking for a family of 3/4 stay or a couples stay in a prime location then this is pleasant. We think it can be improved easily which would improve the review score.
Location, location, location. This was our third stay at the Largigi Rooms. We really like the concept of a modern clean and pleasant room, with a secure car park beneath.
Not much to be fair, we fully intend to return.
Such a fabulous location!
Great location as very close to the centre of town and the beach areas.
Being charged £45.00 for parking at the premises.
Location and facilities
Could do with a grab rail in the shower and a fold up chair as my wife is disabled
Got what was expected in the information on booking so was happy
