My daughter has bed bugs which were reported and they did get a new bedroom and a breakfast. The beds and pillows were some of the most uncomfortable I have slept in

First I don't eat breakfast so I can't comment on it: The room was comfortable and clean, great bed, slept like a log, view was bad on the side of the hotel I was on, but the location was fantastic, everything was near. The staff were only Great, nothing was too much trouble, very knowledgeable about the area, I felt very welcome and comfortable talking to them, without exception. There is also a really nice shopping centre 5 mins walk from the hotel, every where was really clean.
I was a bit disappointed with their not being a restaurant in the hotel, just food ordered at the bar and being vegan the choice was chips and/or salad. But the staff came to my rescue and told me of a restaurant near the hotel that would be able to cater for my needs, and as the place was so safe I was happy to walk 5 mins to get dinner, there were actually several restaurants near by so it would not take away from anyone staying there not having a "proper" restaurant in the hotel, the only other thing and was partly my own fault, there weren't any usb ports to charge my phone and I didn't bring the plug with me as I thought I wouldn't need it, but again the Staff came to my rescue and charged my phone for me in the office until I could buy a plug which I did the following morning.

Staff unhelpful, issues with room (TV not working, sink not draining and shower temperature scalding). Parking is also a nightmare although hotel guests get slightly cheaper rate

Unfortunately the meal in the lounge bar was cold and over cooked. Not being able to set the air-conditioing to your own required setting.
