The hospitality of the restaurant bar was exceptional and when I ordered tea the spillage of Melinda was rapidly attended too by the head barley himself and another carton was provided without asking this despite the drinking companions who I presume as they were friendly and exclusively male were part of a male escort weekend I would have liked to ask about but I am new to Manchester living all my life in bottles which is Nottinghamshire.
It was not full of the partners of the drinking crowd I mentioned before as I would have liked to see the night life of Manchester and I can only presume the girls were just coming I up from London Knightsbridge where if I had a girlfriend and I was more than a gouyser I would have shelled out for. Even if river island is the budget. My expense account can only cover primary and new look when I am flush.
The friendliness of staff was superb they couldn't help you enough .great location would definitely go back. My wife has mobility issues which was not a problem in this hotel .parking was very handy and easy.

Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to and will definitely tell my friends about the hotel.
Tv in the room kept on going off or losing the picture other than that was a good stay.
On the whole the staff were great and very helpful.
I'd like to single out the lady who I assume was the manager in the breakfast hall. She was an absolutely lovely lady, took the time to go through everything with us and check we were OK. Breakfast was good, varied, you can go healthy or go for the fry. It's really a good selection. And in fact all the breakfast room staff were competent and diligent. The area was clean. Dishes were cleared quickly, nothing was any trouble. The food was well presented and everything we chose was delicious.
On arrival there was a discrepancy about what was included in the booking. I had screenshotted the page, thus was able to show the staff. I had spent hours looking for the best deal and chose one that included breakfast. The girl insisted it was a mistake, saying the fault lay with Booking.com. She basicity said it wasn't their fault and so not their problem, and she was sorry but nothing they could do.
When I insisted it wasn't my fault either, another member of staff stepped in and gave us a voucher for the breakfast. The original girl was not happy. When we had first arrived she was extremely welcoming, friendly, happy and really pleasant. After the hiccough she was notably cold and business like toward us. So much so, I didn't even want to ask her anything for the rest of our stay.
The reception and bar staff were always helpful, professional and polite.
The hotel rooms are getting a little tired and need a good deep clean.

Despite the fact we booked a twin room almost a year in advance we were given a double room with disabled failities and a folding bed. The sink an shower in the bathroom were extremely low and uncomfortable to use.
