Excellent hotel accommodation in the heart of Myrtleford
Pros:

Lovely, comfortable room, with an excellent ensuite bathroom. The room opened onto a balcony overlooking the street. Tea making facilities with biscuits and milk provided. Very comfortable bed.

Cons:

WiFi was a bit weak.

Comfy bed and great shower .

Cons:

Very cramped. No bathroom shelving to put toiletries, including in the shower.
Difficult to fill jug with water in bathroom basin as it wouldn't fit.
Trouble finding a suitable power point to plug jug into.
No freezer compartment in fridge.

A nice hotel, exceeded our expectations
Pros:

Only spent the night, but had nothing to complain about. The hotel is really nice. The manager met us at the door by chance, but be aware, you would need to call if not arriving during their reception hours, which are 1-3pm.

Our room was a decent size, recently renovated, with a really nice bed and large bathroom. Solid wifi throughout the hotel. The TV has local stations, along with Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, etc (logins needed).

A bar fridge was in the room, but no freezer or microwave. Anything you need from dining can be requested from the restaurant downstairs.

We had a large shared balcony which was nice to sit on at night and in the morning for breakfast.

Large bar/pub downstairs. Not so much noise and a good option for dinner if you don't want to go any further.

Street parking is available outside the hotel. There's four petrol stations in Myrtleford, at the time of visit, Liberty (as you approach from Wangaratta) was offering the best price for U91 in town and also compared to Bright, Tawonga, Mount Beauty and Omeo.

Pros:

The location was very good. The room was a good size. very clean. okay for a one night stop.

Cons:

The fridge was very noisy. More cutlery and crockery could have been supplied. There was only 2 mugs and 2 teaspoons. Not enough tea bags. There was nowhere on the bench to plug in kettle, i had to boil water using floor sockets.

Overall hotel has potential however there needs to be improvements if the owner wants it to be of boutique standard

Cons:

We stayed 3 nights. Towels not exchanged. Beds not remade. Hotel unexpectedly closed Sunday so no meals. We know the hotel closed Monday & Tuesday, that wasn’t a problem.
Fridge very noisy.
