There are many parking lots in the street called am Protzenweiher. Directly in front of the hotel you may park only for one hour with a parking disc.

The weekly market in Stadtamhof takes place on Wednesdays. On this day you can not park on the road opposite the hotel.

Pros:

Die Lage zur Innenstadt war ideal. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet und in einem sehr ( positiv) speziell eingerichteten Raum einzunehmen.

Cons:

Die katastrophale Parkplatzsuche. Durch das große Volksfest war der große Parkplatz bei der Innenstadt gesperrt und hat die Situation extrem verschärft.
Zum Glück hatte das Ordnungsamt offenbar Mitleid, denn wir standen immer im zeitlich begrenzten Parkbuchten zu lange. Alles immer nur Anwohner oder nur 2 - 3 Stunden Parkzeit.

Für eine Nacht passabel, würde aber nicht nochmal dort nächtigen.
Pros:

Tolle Lage, super freundliches Personal. Super Teeauswahl beim Frühstück.

Cons:

Der Charme des Vintage kam in echt leider nicht rüber. Das Zimmer wirkte eher abgewohnt und Boden, Kasten, Bett knarzend. Tür und Gang hellhörig. Die Bettwäsche war löchrig, der Zipp kaputt und das Leintuch keine Baumwolle. Haben wegen Hitze, kein Ventilator/Klima, ab 7 Uhr Baustelle nebenan sehr schlecht geschlafen. Das Frühstück war nett, zwei Aufstrichgläser aber schimmlig und es gab kein frisches Gemüse (einzig Oliven..).

Frustrating beyond belief.
Cons:

Arriving at the hotel 45 minutes before check in we couldn’t even find it., nor did we know how to access our room. (We later learned it was through an alleyway and up some stairs.)

We sent an email and were given the location and code for obtaining keys but still couldn’t get in until check in time so we waited in the sun and 86 degree heat for 45 minutes. Good luck in obtaining a cab to go to the airport or train station. Bed was terrible!! Very hot and no ceiling fans. Advertised welcoming drink and breakfast options but once again they didn’t come through.

Wunderbarer Ort, um innenstadtnah in die Vergangenheit zu reisen und in tollen Zimmern mit viel viel Flair eine oder mehrere Nächte zu verbringen.

Individuelle Ausstattung, traf unsern Geschmack daher sehr gemütlich. Obwohl es nur ein paar Schritte zur alten Brücke und den Freiluft-Treffpunkten war, war das Zimmer (mit geschlossenen Fenstern) recht ruhig.

Cons:

Etwas unklar, dass man auf jeden Fall einen Schlüsselcode braucht.
