Pros:

The location (especially the beachfront cottage) is just exceptional. Right in front of a nice surf break when it’s small (didn’t get much swell while there so no idea if it works when bigger) and the view is just incredible. Staff and owner extremely friendly and helpful, facilitated scooter rental for me and tuk tuk transfer to my next accom. Really just a great place in the world to be.

Pros:

Bamboo felt instantly warm and inviting. The owner was not only welcoming but had a great sense of humour. The room we had exceeded our expectations enough for us to come back a second time to end our trip in Siargao.
Highly recommended.

I had a beach front bungalow and couldn't stop admiring the view right outside my front door. Beautiful beach, lots of surfing, sunny skies. perfect. The staff were so polite and eager to help. Meals were good and a good value for the money, and the owner took personal interest in making sure my stay was comfortable. It really made me feel at home, comfortable, and allowed me to relax and enjoy the beautiful island as i intended to.

Cons:

Not much :) Maybe an espresso machine, but I managed quite well with the coffee in my room.

The PERFECT stay - highly recommend!!

Bamboo Surf Beach is pure paradise!

George, the owner, set the tone right away with incredible local tips and a map marking all the best spots to visit. He was an incredible host throughout the entire stay, helping us with surfboard rentals, scooter rentals, and even recommending places to stay at our next destination in General Luna!

Lyn and the entire staff were unbelievably attentive and made sure every request was taken care of seamlessly.

The hotel itself has everything you could ever need. The villas are beautiful, spotlessly clean, quiet, and have top-notch air conditioning.

Having a surf break right out front and free access to a stunning beach - which is rare to find - made the location unbeatable.

It’s the perfect mix of quiet, relaxing, and fun. Plus, the food was delicious and clean, and the drinks were phenomenal! I’m already planning my trip back. 10/10!

Pros:

Owner was super nice.

Cons:

It was not worth 4000 pesos more like 2500. We got the room next to the road so noisey when a truck goes past. TBH I only paid 4k to get money back from booking.

Pros:

Right on the beach with fun, uncrowded waves out the front. A short walk to the cafes. Perfect location! Pool was excellent and the rooms were so beautiful and immaculate.

Bamboo is an amazing place to stay. The owners are generous, helpful, and welcoming, while the staff are well-trained and attentive. The cottages are exactly as described. The pool is well-maintained and a true blessing during the hot summer months. Beach front access is a huge plus! The food and drinks are tasty, too. It was a perfect stay, 10/10!
