Great town centre hotel run by folk who know what they are doing
Pros:

Good nights sleep after a great meal and a pint of good ale. Very pleasant vibe, popular pub, nice food on offer at good prices. Good breakfast. Well appointed quiet and well presented room, everything worked and the staff were all lovely.. I'll be back.

Cons:

Nothing to fault. And Pocklington is great!

A nice hotel with very friendly staff (the majority) great breakfast

Location, large room and comfortable bed

Cons:

There was barely more than a dribble of lukewarm water in the shower. Rm6 main hotel

The barman with the beard needs to brush up on customer service. Not just my opinion, the other 3 in my group agree.

Breakfast was nice and the location was perfect. Rooms were clean and it was a very nice stay.

POCKLINGTON IS A PLEASANT SMALL TOWN BUT WITH VERY FEW OPTIONS FOR ACCOMMODATION
Pros:

very central yet no road noise

Cons:

we'd been moved into a 'chalet' to avoid many stairs which turned out to be like being in a motel [something we never use] and as it was round the car park there was the noise of car doors being shut from early in the morning; the price charged seemed to reflect the lack of alternatives in the town rather than the quality of the offer
