Nice location, but a lot to improve in all areas. The room, (Junior Suite Ludwig), extremly kitscy. the `bio´ swiming pool has floating plasic bags and the main entrance in to the pool is extremly slippery and dangerous. Diner is robbery, with a limited main course and 8,8 € for 0,1 l white wine?. Front desk personal manned with trainees, just learning what hospitalityt is. As best a 3*** hotell.
We loved our time at Konig Ludwig. The hotel is magnificent and clearly corners were not cut when it came to decor creating a unique Bavarian atmosphere.
We loved the breakfast and the 4 course dinners.
The spa area was magnificent. Infusions were great but interestingly features we really liked were the natural man made lake which was a cooler temperature and the general areas where you could rest or sunbathe.
We did go to the Schloss Neuschwanstein castle which was very touristy but still worth the trip.
Would love the opportunity to return to the hotel.
Krásné ubytování, nesmírně milý personál, prima wellness, skvělé snídaně, k večeři výborné víno. Večeře nás vyloženě neoslnila, příště bychom ji neobjednali. Jinak vše na jedničku s hvězdičkou.
Cena za noc je asi příliš vysoká.
The pool facilities are amazing, the ambience and the staff friendlyness. The Spa is also great and has multiple options to choose from, either solo or with your partner.
Rooms don't have AC, so in summer or very hot days it can become quite hot in the room, so you may need to leave the terrace door open for a while so the room can cool down.
